Yarn Trader

15/9/2022 Today I received a phone call from The Yarn Trader apologising for not following up with the return satchel and offering a refund for the 8ply Fyberspates yarn I received in error. I was also offered the option of exchanging the 8ply for the original 4ply I ordered, I am not required to return the 8ply. I appreciate that the Yarn Trader has addressed the error and refunded my purchase of this skein of yarn.I have updated my original rating from one star to four stars.In March 2022 I ordered two skeins of Fyberspates Vivacious 4 ply in two colours, along with a Lykke swift from The Yarn Trader, Adelaide. When the yarn arrived, they’d mistakenly sent an 8 ply in place of one of the 4 ply yarns I ordered. I rang the store, they reluctantly agreed to allow me to return it and were going to send a satchel so it could be returned at their expense.I’m writing this on 6/9/2022 and I have never received the pre paid satchel, nor any further follow up from the store.

The presentation of the 2022 Yarn Trader Advent calendar is exceptional. I’m loving the original pattern that accompanied it and can’t wait to cast on Day 1’s yarn, which is very pretty. Thanks for a lovely Advent.

I was recently in Adelaide and decided to call in as I love their range online. I am so glad. The staff were awesome and incredibly helpful. I mentioned that I had trouble winding my skeins. They demonstrated the correct steps for winding. I came home and was able to wind all my skeins. Definitely recommend

Went here for the first time today- I needed some double pointed needles in a size I couldn't get at the big stores. Massive range, so beautifully laid out and really helpful staff. Can't wait to come back!
