Steavenson Falls

Make sure you go after dusk - the entire falls area is floodlit and it’s pretty impressive. Fairly short walk from the car park along an even path, with lighting, several seats available on the way for those tired. Impressive that all the lighting is green energy, powered by an internal hydro power station. Great during the day, better at night!

Pros- amazing, powerful falls- easy, short, flat, relatively shaded walk from the car park (9/10 on the Old Fat Cow Rating Scale. Some stairs to contend with, but not puffy ones).ConsBecause it's so accessible, it means it's pretty popular. This can cause issues with parking. Get there early or late or outside peak travel periods to avoid humans and truly appreciate the beauty of the spot without the massive noisy groups travelling in packs with feral children making you wish for an asteroid to wipe out humanity.

A great waterfall, surrounded by trees, and splashing over rocks and around rocks, large and small. There's a zigzagging path you can take to where the water cascades out over the rocks. The metal viewing platform is sturdy - and the view is beautiful! It's definitely a place to relax and absorb the sounds of water flowing and rushing. The stream flows year-round as the spring is not far away, so it's not dependent on rainfall for its water.There's one little hydroelectric generator in the stream below, which is fun to see, as it's the old original style of machine from many decades ago. The electricity it generates supplies the lights around the waterfall and stream.

The falls are always pretty and worth a look. There is a walk of about 700 metres along a fairly flat gravel path.Watch out for snakes on a warm day.It's a shame the track to the upper falls lookout and Keppels lookout was closed due to tree clearing works.

Amazing place with a beautiful waterfall!10-15 minutes walk to the top of the falls and if you wish there is another track that takes you even further to see a. Beautiful view of the mountains and the town below.About 30 minutes in addition to the first trail.

Beautiful falls and very nice and easy place to hike with family and friends. Parking is little less if you go during public holiday and all. You will be able to park on the road side and walk a little.

Good day out with the family! The area in general and Stevenson Falls in particular is well maintained. The only real opportunity for improvement would be the lack of adequate parking facilities.

I went here with my friends. We walked 13km on this place. We saw the beautiful falls and many look outs places.This place is one on the best places to visit in Victoria.

Great falls to see the walking tracks are good to walk. We choose to just talk the walk to the top of the falls and then down which for us would have been a food hour.Well worth the trip and plenty more longer walks there to do as well.
