Nightcap at Golden Beach Tavern

We had a 2 night stay in the 2 bedroom apartment. We were really happy with everything provided and the staff were friendly and helpful. The on-site tavern had beautiful meals.

We stayed for two nights last week and have stayed in the past. We find the rooms very satisfactory for a short stay, the staff are friendly and helpful. By booking direct we received free breakfast packs which are basic but perfectly adequate. We also received free drinks vouchers and discounts on meals at the tavern. We intend to stay again on our next visit to Caloundra and highly recommend it as a very good value for money venue.

Absolutely loved my stay. Rooms are so cosy and immaculately clean. The beds are so amazingly comfortable too! The online booking experience was straight forward.Reception and hotel staff, friendly and professional.The many perks made my stay memorable, such as breakfast pack, drinks voucher, and bistro discount. Location also is amazing, so close to beach and shops, yet away from main traffic area. I can't wait to book my next stay!

Rooms are simple and clean. No soundproofing at all. Was in a room close to the pub so had the pleasure of hearing all the guests conversations, closing gates, etc. You can literally step out the back and basically be in the beer garden. Also a Dan Murphy's is 30m away on the front side - pretty handy if you like a drink.Bring earplugs.

Typical Pub/Tavern accommodation, great food with average motel attached.Staff in the tavern where you check in were very friendly.We had lunch at the tavern on arrival, food quality and price were 4 stars.Our 2 bed room apartment was overpriced even with a discount due to below average furnishings, damaged equipment and the worst odor in the room. The kitchen was a waste of space.If you need a hospital visit in Caloundra you can't get a better location but shop around, if on business or holiday I have found superior apartments for less $ within 2km.

Do not stay here if you’d like any sleep at all. The room is incredibly noisey from the guests in the tavern, continual clanging entrance gate, car park, main road, children’s play area right beside the rooms, trucks arriving with stock for near by businesses early in the morning and you can hear everything from upstairs. My room didn’t lock with the key or from the inside of the room. There’s not even one plate or bowl or any cutlery but there is a fridge. The location is good but that’s it. I would never stay here again and highly recommend you don’t if you want to rest or relax at any point.

Lovely. Unfortunately no sound insulation. Can her a pencil drop four doors away.
