Pretty disappointed in the food. First time I tried it here and I won’t be back. The rice was undercooked in the fried rice. The Peking steak was not even close to proper steak it was a cheap cut of beef that is tough and given the dish is over $20 very disappointing in taste & quality. The ginger chicken was kind okay but the chicken was chewy. Chinese take away food that I’ve always had the meat has been tender but the food that was served is what I would expect from a home cook the first time they attempted to cook this kind of food & while reading from a recipe. It’s a pity I was hoping for good local Chinese restaurant but I won’t paying good money for that kind of food again.

Ate there tonight with my wife and two children(6&9).Food and service was good, VERY disappointed with being charged $20 for steamed rice.

I ordered the stir fry vegetables.Going from the current overall review score, I was pleasantly surprised. The Vegetables were fresh and cooked well.The rice however is overpriced. If Golden Bowl can get their rice price on-par with other restaurants/takeaways, then I would expect their overall review score to definitely increase.Keep in mind, I only ordered a vegetable dish, so cannot give any insight to the meat dishes.

The food was fantastic, but some helpings were too small for what we paid. This was excellent, the counter staff were friendly and helpful, but they were rude to my friends before we arrived because there was only seven of us instead of fifteen of us. They could have been courteous even though we got the numbers wrong, I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone. There is better around the Redlands area and Greater Brisbane.

Just recently started going back here and am impressed with taste and quality of the food. Love that you fo a deep fried Wonton.... would love to see a bit more chicken and BBQ pork in fried rice. It's always expensive meal for us as we love so many of your dishes.

Tried this place last night for the first time. Food was great, price good, service good. Tried again tonight (a good Chinese restaurant is hard to find these days) and food was awesome, well cooked, good serving size, great flavours - will be back

The food was delicious but I felt like I drank 3 litres of water afterwards as it left me very dry in the mouth. It seemed to be very salty.
