Been going to Tweed Heads Chinese for 30 years now with mixed results so tried Happy Kitchen. Food 30%-50% cheaper and quality is superb.

Special Fried Rice had no meat, no vegetables, and if there was egg I be buggered if I could find it.Sweet & Sour pork was battered pieces of meat in a bag with a bowl of vegetable- less sauce.Lemon Chicken was the same.A pity there is no option for me to post the pictures of this $44 rip off.Summary, avoid this place like the plague. Many better Chinese food places close by.EDIT: And upon ringing the establishment the next night to speak to the Manager/owner, was met with blunt refusal to speak about my dissatisfaction. Further, recorded the phone call.Do yourself a service and avoid this business

A really handy local Chinese Takeaway. My family are regulars here and my father particularly likes their Curry Prawns and Rice.On our last visit I tried the Beef in Black Beans sauce which was also delicious. Their menu is extensive, with the usual Chinese dishes - nothing fancy - and the prices are quite reasonable. Customer service is excellent. They give you a bag of Prawn Chips with your takeway order

Great food with a vast variety of Chinese meals on the menu. My family has been frequenting this take away outlet for many years. I enjoy the exceptional customer service with the chefs always going the extra mile to ensure our children are satisfied. By giving our children a free lollipop on every visit has ensured we have never looked elsewhere for our Chinese takeaway.If I could give this six stars I would.

Ordered 3 dishes plus special fried ricePity they omitted the usual added extras in the rice, no prawns, vegies just coloured rice. It was just plain rice with the minute pieces of ham and nothing else .Food was quite bland and could have done with more seasoning .satay vegies had minimal flavour , Mongolian lamb not enough spices and sweet and sour pork was average. Love Chinese food but will have to look elsewhere next time .

Special fried rice horrible not like real Chinese takeaway. So 1 star. Chicken omelette was good. Honey chicken average 1star'. Overall go find another Chinese takeaway that makes real food.

Worst Chinese food I have ever had. Lemon chicken was not crispy. Prawn crackers were stale. Mongolian beef had no taste and the fried rice was rice with a little colour. No peas, little prawns, ham, eggs. Very disappointed. When I rang them very politely, they said there is nothing they could do. Most of it went in the bin.

Unhappy Kitchen - absolutely the worst Chinese meal I've ever eaten. Ordered chicken chow mein - looked suspiciously like chicken & vegetable - gelatinous & no noodles. Rang the restaurant to confirm it was the right meal care factor zero. Everything else was correct but greasy & tasteless - not recommended other than to avoid - $55 wasted :-(
