Came early for a simple breakfast. Great coffee, nice food and a gorgeous view! It was definitely a great way to start the day off with The Flying Bear! Ordering and Payment can now be done via the QR code (hassle free!) so there was really minimal service staff engagement. However, the staff seem friendly enough. ;)

We had dinner here before a show at the Ensemble. Overall I thought the food was overpriced for the quality. I had a salmon bowl which was just not that great at $32. The burgers were very plain as were the other dishes. If you are charging $32 plus for mains then the quality and presentation of the meals should reflect that price point which in this case they do not.

Worst customer service. Waited 30mins for my takeaway to only be told they never got my order through their QR code app. No apologies or anything. Food was terrible and overpriced. Payed for almond milk and got told full cream milk and when questioned the barista he lied about it when we can clearly taste the difference.

We had a wonderful lunch here.It is nicely located alongside Milson Park with views out into the bay.The service was great, the food good and the dining room has a nice modern fitout.

Nice views, but unfortunately nothing else was good. Coffee was too hot and had no coffee smell or taste. I also had to wait like 20min for my coffee. I then gave this place another go on another day. I bought a smoothie. It didn’t taste like much. And I also had to wait 20-25min for this smoothie. I don’t know why this place is so popular because it’s not worth it!

This cafe is slightly tricky to find - walk right around to the left of the building and you will see an entry near the big patch of grass at the side of the building. Once we eventually found this little cafe, we were very impressed! Lovely outdoor venue with a picturesque view. The food was very fresh and tasty. We will return!

Beautiful spot, I have been getting coffee from here for a year, unfortunately the breakfast was incredibly disappointing. I ordered the porridge which came out looking nothing like the picture, for $16 I am shocked they would serve a bowl of porridge with a slab of butter on top and nothing else. This cafe could have so much potential but for now I would not eat here until the standard of food improves.

Found a sunny spot out of the wind yesterday (Sunday) half hr before they closed at 3 - decaf black coffee was quite smooth/not bitter and the melting moment hit the spot (so much didnt get a pic first!)-wasnt as short as some of the commercial ones but also meant less crumbs for the breeze to blow back on you. Staff didnt rush people to leaves 3 approached so relaxing atmosphere.

nice hidden Cafe, with an amazing view of the bay. We went to flying bear after our 5am kayaking session, which was located very close to the cafe. The food was good, the only feedback was we’ve ordered the same dish, scrambled eggs on toast with side of halloumi each dish came ou with different type of halloumi mine was extremely salty. Wasn’t even edible. So we only ate on halloumi that tasted good, as I could see the cheese was cut differently, so you can clearly tell it was different brand. they just need to keep up with a a consistent quality food. Coffee was good

I’m surprised I’ve never actually been here, considering I live nearby and visit the park at least once a fortnight!A pretty small menu overall; we had the banana bread, fish tacos, bacon and egg roll, and poached chicken and avocado sandwich. Food was tasty, and not a complaint could be made. The little ones ate a tomato and cheese toasted sandwiches which were devoured in minutes.A variety of hot beverages were had all round, which were very good.Staff were polite, although because of the QR code menu/ordering system, you lose that human element. I’m still not even sure if you can order a bowl of chips there, as it doesn’t appear on menu, although chips come with burgers.Prices feel a little high, but you’re paying for the view over the nice bay, so can’t complain too much.Entrance is from the side of the Sydney Flying Squadron.
