Shenton General Practice

been going to this practice since I was a child, haven’t had a single good experience. the administrative staff have become increasingly more rude and my experiences with Dr Coek have been abysmal. shout out Dr Dawson though she’s lovely

Great doctors but unfortunately the admin staff called Karen has bad phone manners, dismissive tone of voice and I personally think she shouldn’t work in health services with personality like that!!

I have been attending this practice most of my adult life. Before they opened Shenton General Practice I dealt with Drs Emery and Bryan at their Tuart Hill surgery. So my connection with these practitioners presently and in the past has been approximately 39 years. I now attend all of the doctors at SGP and all of them are excellent and lovely to deal with.

I used to come to the Churchill Health Centre here. Well no longer are they the same doctors and I was met with a very rude and obnoxious receptionist who wouldn’t give me any information about my child’s doctor’s whereabouts or anything of any of the wonderful past doctors who used to work here.I would not recommend this practice to anyone when I used to refer people here for the last 20 years. Very sad. This used to be such an amazing holistic practice. Dr Clive Heath was the very best.

The doctor is brilliant here, but it is pity this nice practice comes with unprofessional reception staff though! I had to say the reception staff called Rubin both were sarcastic and rude on the phone and in person. She definitely should be sacked. I 'd wonder how hard to find a nice staff these days to keep your reputation.

These days it’s hard to find a good GP. After decades in debilitating pain, spasms, and inability to sit, I had lost hope in doctors until I met Dr. Bernadette Bailey. She took her time to take thorough medical history, and to my disbelief, she found out what was wrong with me. Her accurate diagnosis was then confirmed by Envision Imaging (things which Perth Radiology clinic and other GPs missed). She always explains my treatment options to me so that I fully understand them and can make the right choices, weighing benefits against risks. She’s trustworthy and has excellent bedside manners. To anyone who is looking for a knowledgeable and caring GP, Dr. Bailey is the one to see. I hope she'll return soon to this practice.

I have been to several doctors in my time and have never received the same treatment as I do here with Dr Shobana Krishnan. She is great at listening and will never dismiss any of your concerns. She is such a genuine person and is great at making you feel comfortable. I am so relieved I have found her, thank you Shobana.

Numerous bad experiences at this practice, have been dismissed and misdiagnosed for numerous things by the doctors here, when I went to a different doctors I was diagnosed with 3 different issues after just 1 appointment which was missed after seeing Shenton Park GP many times prior, also I was forced to pay for a test I didn’t ask for and that was completely unnecessary, usually I have a good experience with the receptionists here but the front desk lady I spoke to today had a lot of attitude, was very rude and cold. I will never be coming back to this incompetent practice.

I have been going to this GP for so many years, I have seen one Dr since I've been at this practice who is now retiring and met another female doctor along the way who is also great.Since I've been at this GP Karen from admin has always been extremely rude, I'm not sure why nothing has been done about her rudeness. Today tried to make a booking with one of the two Dr I have seen before to be told that I can't get in to see any of the doctors I prefer as I havent seen one of them since 2019 not taking on new patient ( I'm not a new patient)and my Dr is retiring.I've told Karen I'm moving elsewhere & she couldn't have cared less.So angry with her service over the years and felt it was time to vent myFrustrations.

Moved here from the U.S. and was nervous about finding a good Dr., but a friend recommended Shenton GP, I've had two appointments to date, and they are fantastic! Very pleased with my new Physician!
