When in to Spotlight looking for curtains. Stock was unavailable. However, the staff were very helpful and friendly. So many beautiful, quirky stuff the home. Picked up 2 beautiful prints for bedroom and dining area.

The worst balloon inflation I’ve experienced. Wanted three helium balloons and have walked away with three balloons incorrectly blown up to be different shapes and sizes and was told it is normal for the same style balloon to look completely different to the next. I watched as my three balloons were popped, re-blown up, popped again, over inflated and popped again for 20 minutes. If there is a trainee doing the job then they need to be appropriately supervised and supported, not left alone to do a job they don’t yet know how to do. And if it wasn’t a trainee, then the staff need more training. Won’t be coming back here for my balloons again.

Wanted to make sure a Semco ruffler foot would fit on the Semco machine because that's all the machine would be used for and once I walk out the door there is no returns. Was told no by the staff member and then she said she would ask the manager. Manager didn't even make the effort to come down. They said they wouldn't open one for me to try the foot.... despite one literally being out of the box in the aisle. Put the foot on after I was told numerous times it would fit as it was the same brand..... it did not.

They won’t refund you if you don’t have a receipt. Even if you gave them your number and can provide a statement of the transaction.

It's just spotlight. What I mean about this is that they inflate their prices and then bring them down to a reasonable price on sales. Having said that they are all extremely friendly and helpful and always stock a good variety

A great place to get crafty stuff including wool. They usually have a vast range of options and plenty of starter kits for cross-stitch, resin, and painting. The store also has household items for the kitchen and bedroom.

I bought new doonas at this store yesterday. I selected goose feather/down combination and was amazed by how warm, light and comfortable it felt. As a result, I had the best night's sleep on a very cold night.The staff at this store are always friendly and helpful. Yesterday I met Theresa, who helped me with my purchase. She was friendly, helpful and approachable. Her customer service was exceptional as she went out of her way to ensure that I got what I wanted and went away happy. Thank you, Theresa for your wonderful work, I really appreciate it and hope that your bosses realise what a treasure you are. It was a pleasure meeting you. Cheers, Nancy

Good store and the staff were mostly helpful, except for someone at the fabric cutting counter who didn't even acknowledge us waiting whilst she chatted away on the phone. A bit cramped compared to other Spotlight stores.

As a cosplayer I practically live in spotlight. They have something for everyone whatever your craft, the staff are always very knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend becoming a VIP member as they often have good deals and discounts.
