Glenn met the contractor on site and explained our position in relation to the work and outlined what was required in order to satisfy us. Glenn provided clear, concise instructions to the contractor verbally on the day and later in writing. Glenn's assistance helped us to maintain a relationship with the contractor which under the circumstances could have quickly disintegrated. Mr Glenn Jones was engaged to write a complex expert report that involved major plumbing and building issues. From start to finish Mr Jones tackled the report in such a high level technical way that set out for a successful claim from the very beginning. The claim ended up with FOS and the member found in favour of the Boston Group report to the tune of 100% of the Quantum being awarded. The high end Boston Group reports are a nuts and bolts costing exercise where Mr Jones and his team go into chapter and verse on every defect or bit of damage, how it is to be rectified, cost every bit of material and every hour of labor to ensure the client knows exactly how much to claim in order to ensure they are not out of pocket with the settlement agreement. I have every confidence in highly recommending The Boston Group and Mr Glenn Jones for any insurance matters where the insurer denies your valid claim or tries to settle your claim for much less than the cost of the rectification works. Mr Jones has an amazing knowledge on the building industry and all its regulations here in Victoria being a member of Master Builders for over 40 years. He is also heavily involved in the Victorian Building Authority. In terms of the cost of the report, all i can say is you get what you pay for! The Boston Group is a boutique building consultancy with a long successful history and the costs of there services are very competitive with industry standards however with Mr Jones he will tell you at the start if he thinks you will have a successful claim or if you are wasting your time and money therefore you can take comfort in knowing where you stand with your claim.

We commissioned a defect report from Glenn in April 2019. His assessment of the defects and the report he created were very detailed. His report included the full scope of work required to fix the defects and the cost of every item was included. No details were spared.At all stages of the process of bringing action against the builder of our home, Glenn was incredibly professional and courteous.
