I have trusted Stephen with my hair for the past 15 years and have only ever had great results. I have watched him interact with 100s of clients and there is a genuineness in connection and ability to listen to their desires whilst guiding with a professional opinion where required.A true genius who has also become a friend I look forward to seeing on each occasion.

Stephen does an amazing cut and colour! I have never been disappointed with the results. I’ve got really fine hair and he always does an amazing job of making me look like I have way more hair than I actually do. I trusted him enough to do my wedding hair and was blown away with the result.

I was looking for a new hairdresser having recently moved to St.Kilda and I’m very happy with my colour and cut. Stephen is lovely and gave me good advice about colour (I’ve had blonde foils for years) and his salon space is very comfortable with natural light coming through large windows. I’ll be re-booking in the future.

I'm not one to write reviews, but I felt compelled to on this occasion.I had my hair burnt by another studio and was recommended Sadler Hair. I was extremely hesitant to go and was worried that my hair would be even further compromised. When I arrived, from the moment I walked through the door to the moment I left, I could not believe my luck in taking the plunge and deciding to get my hair coloured and styled by Stephen.My hair was extremely compromised and Stephen took the time to explain exactly what he was doing, with his central philosophy of the integrity of the hair coming first. He listened to what I wanted and was extremely gentle, precise and accomodating in my questions and concerns.The final result actually took my breathe away. Stephen had managed to achieve the exact colour I wanted, and took it even further by accentuating my face contour, existing colour and hiding the damage done by the previous hairdresser. He matched the tone to my skin colour beautifully and created a seamless, soft look that blended everything in. When he cut and styled it, because I had broken pieces, Stephen blended these parts in and styled the rest to accentuate my features and blow dryed it in a Bridgette Bardot look for me exactly how I wanted.I can confidently say my hair has looked the best it has in my entire life and I could not recommend Stephen more highly - from his professionalism including being COVID safe, to his advanced colouring, cutting and styling skills, to the beautiful salon space, Stephen is a rare gem in an industry that is very hit and miss.

Stephen is a talented and highly professional hairdresser. He listens to what I’d like, offers valuable suggestions and gives me a perfect cut everytime. Stephen runs his business smoothly in terms of bookings, and timeliness. He is also a really lovely man to have a coffee or wine with while my hair is getting done. I’m always receiving compliments about my hair!

Stephen is the best hair dresser in Melbourne! I have been seeing him for close to 2 years now and would never go anywhere else. He is extremely talented and knowledgable in his craft. He always listens to what i want from my hair and talks me through ways we can achieve the desired outcome. He is so fun to be around and has an beautiful studio that i love to visit. Definitely makes the long foiling sessions fun. cannot recommend enough!!

Stephen is an AMAZING hairdresser. I have been coming to him for 9 years and always love love my cut and colour. He’s gives me the best blonde foils and has done some cracking spring racing and event looks too !! As an added bonus I have never known Stephen to have an ‘off day’ - he’s so energetic and personable you can’t help but leave feeling a million dollars inside and out.
