Family meat pie was so full of pepper the kids refused to eat it & I wasn't keen on my piece, needed milk after it. Wonderful, friendly service, great range of savory & sweet foods. Such a pity every single bakery insists on putting pepper in everything. Surely there is room in the market for pepper free" meat pies & sausage rolls - so the kids will eat the "easy" dinner I bought."

This 1 Star is only given for the food which is good. However, one of the staff is awful !!!! I will NOT buy anything from this shop anymore due to the bad service. The lady who looks like edward scissorhands has racist. She always serve locals first even they come after me. One after one until all have ordered, then she back to serve me with a cold or fake smile face. I have never experienced this in other store so far. She is pushing away customers. Such a shame!

Lovely owners! (Sisters??) and they know how to bake!! Bought a few slices and every one of them was delicious! Especially the choux pastry with chocolate fresh cream inside - I don’t remember the name but delicious!! They were gone before I could take a picture sorry!!

Visited in January 2023. The cases were filled with fresh delicious delights. The staff were welcoming and happy for a chat. Best of all, upon hearing we were visitors to the area and didn't have any of our own. they unhesitatingly buttered the fruit buns we purchased for no extra charge, Highly recommend

Have gone from 5 stars to oneIt was always a great place, but the last 2 visits have been horrible. Am not sure if they have changed their baker or what but the standards are horrible. The food is just sometimes to burnt in flavour to eat. Last visit I had to take a party pie and sausage roll back because the salt. Well the response I got I will definitely not going back.Always excellent fresh food, cold drinks, great coffee and exceptional service. The only true old fashioned bakery left

Beautiful food,fantastic prices.Great selection to choose from.The only down side is they pounce on you as soon as you walk in door and make you feel rushed.We would buy more but always feel pressured to get in and out quickly.

Ok, yum!! That was the best sausage roll I've had in a long time, the beef, cheese & bacon pie was super tasty and the cream buns are so dang delicious! The staff are really friendly too :)

It's a great bakery with some of the tastiest pastries in town.It is usually very busy so there can be a bit off a wait.
