This is the best little bakery to the North of Sydney. I have been going there for more than 40 years and the quality has never changed.Apart from the great pies they sell the best thing is that they are open very early. I have often dropped at 05:30 on my way out of Sydney and they are always open for great coffee and something for breakfast.

Lovely little traditional style bakery/pie shop that also does a very nice coffee. Easy parking outside shop and close to train station. If you are going up to the Old Pacific Highway or the Central Coast on the freeway and want to grab something to avoid the twin servo melee then definitely recommend stopping in here. Friendly staff and tasty food at reasonable prices. The usual favourites in hot food choices plus baked on premises fresh bread, rolls and pastries. Nice selection of decorated cakes and sweets. Hidden gem well worth trying

Nice pies and sausage rolls. The Currie vegetable pie was too spicy and strong in curry flavour.

Pretty awesome pies but not the biggest range, not really a criticism just saying it's a small place. Definitely the place to grab bread or rolls though.

Always fresh, and always ready.Takes about 4 minutes to take a short detour when travelling North.I'm not a coffee drinker, so really cannot comment on Coffee, but pastries, particularly around Breakfast time; perfect.Best regards,Charles

Top of the Ridge Pie & Cakes Berowra
The coffee was ok but the cheese bacon and beef pie was outstanding. The pastry was crispy and the filling was tasty. This pie was 5 stars. The Danish pastry was lovely and crispy and also a 5 star pastry. Pop in for these alone. With the trip.
