Heavenly Heat

I installed a masonry heater in 2018 in my own newly built house in NE Victoria. I can't praise it highly enough. It is the only heating source in our 175m2 house. In the middle of winter 20kg of wood burnt each evening keeps the internal temperature of the house between 20-21 degrees in the living area and 18 degrees in the bedrooms. (note: a well sealed and insulated house with high thermal mass). When we get up in the morning the masonry surround is still hot, radiating a lovely warmth for 24 hrs.

We have so enjoyed our first winter with our masonry heater. We are looking forward to summer but will miss the wonderful warm ,comforting glow of our fire and warm bricks. Fiona and Alan have been great to us , very genuine caring people !!

Fiona has been very helpful every step of the way and is still in touch and responsive 3 years after our installation. We can't stop telling everyone how great it is to have a warm home all the time with such little input! If you are thinking of installing a masonry heater, do, you won't regret it.
