Jackie's On Vincent
Jackie's serves up a tasty fusion of Asian cuisine and western pub food. There is a simplified take away menu on offer but the dine in experience is a bit more sophisticated. The atmosphere inside is warm and inviting but there is also shaded seating on the sidewalk which is perfect for lunch on a sunny day.

The food is noticeably more tasty than regular Asian take out. This is probably because of the ingredients being fresh produce. The servings were generous and feels like they took careful time to make especially for both of us. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to try the local produce but not eat a boring flavourless steak and greens.

The goat curry was 5 star - very delicious, very tender meat and really great. Service was great, friendly and prompt.The dumplings - we call it the school holiday dumplings" lol. Unsure if it was done intentionally that way but looks like it was done by a kid lol."

I recently had dinner at Jackie's on Vincent, the food and service are okay. Surprised to see no soup on the menu despite a thai restaurant. However, the staff is generous enough to offer soup which is not on the menu. I started with the hot and sour chicken soup, which was decent. The soup was thick and flavorful but not great. And the vegetable shitake fried dumplings are deep fried and oily. Didn't leave a great taste in my mouth.

A lovely cozy and homely restaurant in Daylesford. Had the absolute pleasure if dining here. Service was amazing, would recommend to book ahead as they do get busy during public holidays!We ordered the following:- 10 piece pork dumplings (were amazing, just wished they were bigger!!)- Fried Calamari (really fresh)- Pork Belly with veggies (so juicy and melts in your mouth)- Thick noodles with chicken and egg (reallllly good!!!)Overall, a bit more on the expensive side but so worth it.Not sure but it might be the only asian restaurant in Daylesford and they do it so well so go try it out!

The area is of course gorgeous, sitting outside gives great views of the verdant trees and what I believe was a blackberry plant. We started with the veg dumplings which went well with a simple soy sauce, good flavour profile and lightly crispy texture.For main I had the falafel which came with a slightly sweet dark soy and crisp roti. The falafel themselves were a solid choice with the flavour really coming to the fore. The only thing missing for me was for the greens it came with to hold a bit more flavour, they were only lightly dressed and came across more as garnish when they could have complemented a bit more. Overall a good meal in a lovely location

We had lunch for 7 and everybody loved their meals. The zucchini & chestnut felafels were superb as was the guilt free fried rice. There were plenty of options for our coeliac vegetarian diner. The service was excellent. The servings were a good size and reasonably priced.

Service was good.Long wait as the place is quite popular. Booking is essential.Food was good but not great.Good portion size.We got the seat next to the door and so froze everytime the door opened.

Nice dishes - three of us had the crispy pork belly and really liked it. Goat curry had good compliments too. Good pana cotta.
