Opossum Bay Park
Beautiful little picnic area with a clean and tidy playground. Short walk to the beach, friendly locals. Isaac at the corner shop was very friendly and accommodating

AH-MAZING area of Tasmania. Highly jealous of the people that live there full time. Certainly on the cards for retirement. Fishing is great there too. If it's seclusion that you want, this is a great place to go.

Visiting Opossum Bay whilst in Hobart . . . IS a must . . . on a clear blue sky day, absolutely stunning.

Do yourself a favour and make the drive outside of Hobart's confines. Keep driving. Don't turn back. A gem. A jewel.

Tried the fresh oysters straight from the water. Nice! I was walking along the beach smelt pure honey aroma. It was a plant called cushion bush.
