Went to Hyderabad Darbar restaurant last week and bought chicken and lamb biriyani. Didn't wait for too long for our take away. Friendly staff at the counter and service was great. It was delicious. They have the best biriyani. We loved it. I will highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Will be back again.

So we got the large value pack for dinner as I finished work and me and my partner didn't want to cook. The tone was already off when I got the food, as it already was missing all the rice, a piece of garlic naan, gave us Samosas instead of fritters and was given the impression that we'd be getting a litre coke and not a can to share (granted it didn't say litre but it felt weird for 1 can between potentially two to three people for a meal). For $69 total including delivery, the butter chicken was nice but watery sauce, same with the lamb korma, the garlic naan was pretty good and the Samosas were good as well and unexpectedly soft. The food was overall good but for $60+ I was expecting better quality food as well as all of our items being present. I feel comfortable to say I'd likely avoid this place in future as there are some other places I've had better take away service at a cheaper rate (would've gone there tonight if they weren't closed)

Travelled from Burwood to have biryani got so many hairs in the meat when reported to the restaurant owner his reply was “Yeah we clean mutton only once but next time will clean it twice” this is to caution the other people so please take this review seriously. It’s better to stay hungry rather than having food from this restaurant. #Dontfallill

What a brilliant find if you looking for catering. We recently ordered catering from here and were very satisfied with the quality and catering service overall. The biryanis, chicken 65 and samosas are definite try for any party menu and the food was delivered fresh and hot to the residence for an economical delivery fee. We tried contacting many other indian restaurants if they could cater and deliver on a busy occasion like ours (house warning and birthday) but were advised to pick up. Thanks to Hyderabad Durbar and team for catering to our request and delivering the food on time. Everyone loved it! Look forward to our next catering event with HD and team.

We had organized lunch for a home event with 80 guests and the food was absolutely delicious! They were very generous with their portions and accommodating to our delivery requests. They kindly dropped off some buffet food warmers the day before for us to feel set up and organized, and were on time with their delivery of the food on the day.I highly recommend them for a delicious and easy going catering service!

Went there on 18th march, 2023. Asked for few items and non of them were as worth. First of all to talk about tandoori chicken, It was pretty too much raw in and out and salads with it were decayed (off gone) onions and carrots were served! And then we did ordered naan, chicken curry and goat curry all of these were tasteless, we asked for spicy before ordering but no changes was made. In overall I wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone travelled from Essendon for more than an hour drive and it was such a experience! Please take this seriously everyone and don’t risk your health on low quality food.

Their speciality is Hyderabadi dum biryani no doubt..both mutton and chicken dum biryani were delicious and fresh with well-balanced spices and great aroma. Butter chicken and chicken 65 masala curry were delicious as well.Chicken noodles from the indo chinese menu were beyond expectation, however, when ordering these for kids its good to mention what spice level you would like as they were a bit spicy for kids but perfect for adults who love spicy food.Dessert- qubani ka meetha and gulab jamun were excellent...perfectly balanced sweetness.Service was quick, staff was courteous with great customer service skills...asking for genuine feedback from customers making sure they leave happy. Would definitely recommend to give it a try...indeed a hidden gem as most reviewers claim.
