Milestones Early Learning Cooma

I have been working here at milestones for nearly a year and I have been studying through them to advance my career and develop my knowledge in early education. The support and training that I have received is above and beyond. No matter what the centre manager is doing if we ask for help or guidance she will help immediately. The staff are amazing as well, welcoming and a great bunch of girls that I can happily call my friends since working here. I can’t imagine working anywhere else and studying either.

The educators at this service provide their up most care tailed to the needs of each individual child. My child was given all opportunities to gain special friendships while developing alongside the other children!

So glad to have a place here. My son had a traumatic experience at his last daycare. The educators were so nurturing and the centre is homely and fun. My son now LOVES going to school". So grateful

Both my children have attended Milestones Cooma from an early age (6months). The staff are professional and always go above and beyond to make sure my children are cared for and happy. They program specific interests into daily activities and my children are always excited to go. They ease my mum guilt of going back to work through sending daily updates and always keeping me informed. They are always available to answer questions and genuinely want to do what’s best for all involved. I highly recommend Milestones Cooma.

My nephew has been attending this service since he was a baby and had just progressed to the toddlers classroom.I love talking to him about school regularly and seeing how his face lights up and gets excited when I ask him about it.For me, having this reaction from my nephew speaks 1000 words. His happiness and excitement about his school, teachers and friends means the most. It tells me that he spends his time in a place that he is loved, has fun and learns a lot whilst he is there.I also often ask my sister a lot of questions about “school”, the service, what he is learning, his teachers etc and she always has great information to share.Thank you Milestones Cooma for providing a great place for my nephew’s Early Childhood Education and giving his learning the best start.

Fantastic service who genuinely care about my children and their education. I folding recommend Milestones more highly. The staff are genuine and knowledgeable and I am confident leaving my children there as I know they are happy and are with people who genuinely care for them.

We moved to the snowy region late last year and found it difficult to get childcare in Jindabyne where we live. I am so glad we put my sons name down at Milestones Cooma. Although a 120km round trip, I honestly feel this is the best place for my son- we plan to stay until he goes to school! The educators are knowledgeable and keen- I definitely see them as part of our “team”! I have seen my son come leaps and bounds since being at milestones and have recommended them to all of my friends. If you live in Cooma or the surrounds, this is an amazing childcare, you won’t be disappointed.

My partner and I can not recommend a better childcare then Milestones Cooma. The staff, the nursery educators in particular, take such pride in their work and it shows with how much they care for our daughter and the other children. She absolutely loves going to “school” and will go off with a smile on her face each morning for a cuddle and a day of play and learning. For a first time mum it is such a comforting feeling knowing she is in such good care. I can not recommend highly enough.

I have worked at Milestones Early Learning for the past 12 years both as the Manager and now the Assistant Centre Manager.This Centre provides a homelike environment for the children, which is warm and family orientated. The educators here at Milestones are my second family, to which I know I can call upon if and when needed.Working for Affinity Education has been both supportive and rewarding, with the opportunities to grow within my career possible. Further professional development opportunities and training is one aspect of the pathway provided in my employment with Affinity Education. Although Covid has meant that our Face to Face opportunities haven't been available, Zoom calls and other face to face training online has meant I could continue to learn and develop further skills without missing out.I returned to the Centre after 12 months maternity leave, and have felt so very supportive with settling my son into care, and the flexibility in shifts and days of work has meant I was able to do this without the stress of feeling pressured.I love working for Milestones and if you are thinking of making the change, you won't be disappointed.
