I first met Greg Mills when I first engaged his services as a singing teacher back in the 1990’s. Since then I have grown as a singer and have developed as a musical artist and entertainer. Greg is my daughter's vocal coach in the last four years. Greg trained her vocal range, built her singing technique, and learned various genre of songs to sing. I have seen big improvement and increase self-confidence. My daughter wants to study musical theatre in the UK. Greg worked together with her and chose suitable songs for the audition and prepared her. Greg also used his industry contacts to prepare the backing track of her music sheet to bring to the audition. Greg is very reliable, discipline, and always fully prepared in his class/ program for my daughter. I describe Greg as a life coach with a specialty in vocal coach who sees a potential (and build on it), and he definitely does not do one size fits all.

My daughter trained with Greg weekly for many years. Greg has been my vocal coach for approx. 6 months, training in his studio on a regular basis. He has been very supportive developing my singing technique and vocal range. Greg has a good sense of humour and is very thorough when demonstrating and explaining new concepts. I have trained under Greg in singing lessons for nearly 5 years and what a wonderful teacher Greg is! Greg applies professional teaching whilst also retaining a warm, encouraging and welcoming environment to learn and grow in singing.When I first came to Greg, I had little to no confidence at all in singing, had very little work ethic into my training and genuinely didn’t enjoy singing overall - that said I needed to work at it to become a triple theatre performer! Greg took me on and pushed me to be the best performer I could be, especially in a positive environment.Vocally - my voice has grown tremendously stronger including my range, my breath control, ability to belt, acting through song and diverse mix of song genres. I have been able to learn songs that I hadn't thought I'd be able to do in the past and actually enjoy singing them! - which I also struggled to do in the past.Technique development + work ethic - In order to reach those vocal goals, Greg from day dot supplied me with vocal exercises on CD and downloadable files which eventually (when i did daily) built the core foundational techniques i needed for singing songs. In addition, my work ethic in singing went from rarely training every day to 1+ hours daily because of Greg’s encouragement which consequently led to my voice being better than ever!Other trades - Greg has a wealth of knowledge from his continued professional experience which he generously shares and adapts to different passions of my professional career. He has given advice to me in choreography, concept videos, song writing skills and playwriting whilst also dedicating time in our lessons to ensuring fundamental skills of music theory are taught.In summary Greg is a fantastic Vocal Coach! He has made me feel like a completely different performer compared to the unconfident singer I was before. Greg genuinely cares for his students and makes sure their vocal health, physical and mental health is always priority.I am going to miss our weekly lessons together but I wouldn’t of been able to make the brave leap to the industry in the UK without Greg’s help!!Special K :)
