The potato top pie is amazing with tasty meat filling and beautiful mash on top. 10/10 . Ive also had the biscoff donut, so fresh and morish and my other purchase was a vanilla slice, again another tasty treat. I'll be back for more and to work my way through the menu. Friendly staff and quick service.

This is the 3rd time this has happened and I’ve received an apology before but this was unfortunately the final straw for me. I only purchase NZ CHUNKY steak and cheese pies because previously there used to be a difference between the NZ mince and cheese and CHUNKY steak and cheese. Last 3 times I’ve bought I’ve always asked for the NZ CS&C but always got mince. I just thought that maybe the staff were mixing up the pies but today I bought 2 and watched that it was taken from the correct section and it was. Got home and buy into my pie only to find disgusting mince which I hate. My daughter also had mince. There’s only 1 conclusion: the recipe has changed and now only mince pies are available and no more CHUNKY pieces of actual steak as before. I’m so very disappointed. Luckily I work in Geelong and can get Chunky steak and cheese pies from Routley’s. Daniel’s please change your labelling as it’s misleading

I went to Daniels Donuts last week and got pies For lunch I got the New Zealand smokey beef egg cheese onion Pie and a pepper stake for hubby .l started eating my pie and it tasted just like an egg pie so l thought the girl gave me the wrong pie .So this week l go back again order the same pie get home exactly the same ... not sure where the smokey beef ,cheese and onoin is all you can taste is egg ,good if you want an egg pie but really disappointing if you are looking for the smokey beef,onion and cheese taste deffinately isn't there.

Listen up - I dont know what the new owners are up to but if you want to run your business into the ground your doing a perfect job. You need to have amazing customer service if you want your customers to absorb the cost of your re-brand - the outragous price hikes is blood money, donuts were $16 for 6 now $21 and its frozen dough balls not even made fresh! Abrupt Customer service will drive regulars away, serving us like we interupted your day, making coffee slow and then having it tastes like its poured through a boot.We would support our local once or twice a week. Now the pies taste ok sometimes but I wont be wasting my time going there anymore, you dont derseve my hard earned money!. The last few weeks you've had no Kiwi Steak and Cheese before the school run. You do know this is what your famous for and sets you apart from every other bakery!! The chunky steak not minced meat or loaded with more gravy then meatToday the shop assistant walked away on my son - I'm sorry did you had better things to do?!. If the customer service was inviting I would happily pay the new prices.Better lighting a match and collecting the insurance money. Cut your losses.

I’ve never given a negative review but I have to post my experience. We went in for a late night coffee and lil’ pie, the 2 staff were incredibly rude. Young man couldn’t be bothered serving me and had me waiting for the coffee whilst he made other orders. He did not seem interested in my money. Woman was on her mobile staring at us in an intimidating way. Nasty behaviour. Other customers behind us left after not being served by either of them. LACKLUSTRE lukewarm pie, stale donuts. Will never be back, used to love this place when it first opened. Bring back the good old days Danny!

The quality of food at this place has plummeted to the point that there is next go no taste, you can tell ingredients are cheap and it is just disgusting. I don't know if it's because they have had new management but definitely not the same anymore. No more bacon and eggs pies only proves they are cheapskates and stingy. Overpriced and overrated now. What a shame. Better to go out to Laverton for a good decent pie now
