Chaos Lab Melbourne: A Creative Experience for Children

4yo & almost 3yo loved it. Ball pit and neon glow area in particular. Perhaps they are easier to please than older kiddos though.

Fun experience. Not too chaotic, which was good. We could take our time. Loved the ball pit, but there could have been more activities to make things and more staff around to explain science to the kids

Potentially a great idea. The place isn’t big. The scientist introduction at the beginning was good but short. The following experiences were ok the glow art was full and this kids didn’t find space to draw freely. One of the booth was unavailable. The ball pit was lovely but too small for the number of kids in it. I hope this is taken to improve the experience for future sessions. Overall an expensive one hour session of play however worth a visit.

First I thought it's a little small and not too much to do. But my 3 and 9 year old had a blast and enjoyed every single activity a lot. So much that they didn't want to move on to the next !

Excellent place to take the kids. Science show was both funny and educational. All exhibits are all very hands on. Daughter really loved the slime lab

My 6 year old absolutely loved the sand pit that changed terrains" and especially loved trying to make it into a volcano. Her favourite part was the slime and giant changing colour ball pit. I would have liked a little more explanation of "how" things were done but thats just the home educator side of me!"

Good for kids 3/4-10 miss 9 still enjoyed it though with slime making, mirror maze, Science experiment demonstration, projector sand play was interesting as you build mounds higher they turn from water, to land, mountain to volcano, the neon drawing area was fun, reversible sequin walls and the ball pit with clear balls copper mirror background nd a changing light floor was fantastic. No toilets inside but some close by in the docklands shopping area and friendly stall throughout. If like mine your child chooses black food colouring for slime making or any dark colour this will change the colour of their hands but washes out by next day with soap and water

We have spent only 15 min there some of the staff weren’t welcoming!!!The experience is short and limited and once you enter an activity and you go on to experience the next you can not go back to the previous one if your child wishes to..This is a child’s experience so you would imagine more interactive vibrant staff …instead staff were just standing there to tell your child off .Maybe because we went in the afternoon and the staff were tired but definitely not worth what we payed for .
