Best maths teach I've ever met.Taffy is most responsible teacher, and full of passion. Taffy teaches according to students' strengths and weakness, and his feedback to homework and exams are extremely helpful. He is so good at stimulating students' interest in maths and help them to set up and achieve their goals. My kid lost interest in maths in year 10, and Taffy helped to build up our confidence and guided us from 3U to 4U. We are very pleased with the result, many thanks Taffy!

Put simply, Candy and the other teachers at Taffy Coaching are the reason my Mathematics Advanced rank improved from the mid-forties in Year 11 to second by the time the HSC exam came around; coaching did significantly more for my rank than the instruction I received at school. While some may think coaching in senior years is a relatively inaccessible service which requires you to have undertaken tutoring since kindergarten, Taffy Coaching was both very accessible and effective despite being my first encounter with a professional tutoring service. Taffy is a fantastic tutor. I reached out to Taffy after finding out some of my daughter’s good friends were doing their HSC math tutoring there and getting good marks.In the past 10 months heading to HSC exam, Taffy was extremely helpful and supportive to my daughter’s math learning. When she was not occupied enough with her Math study because of devoting her time to other subjects, Taffy alarmed us immediately and we could work together to get her back to track.In the end she got a satisfied E4 mark in her Math Ext 1. The tutors who work here are all highly invested in the wellbeing and performance of their students, and go above and beyond accordingly. I started coaching here in year 11 following a weekend summary course which enabled me to finally understand the content we had covered in school. In my time up to the HSC, Taffy, Danny and Candy, were able to replicate this experience in every lesson- transforming maths and chemistry from subjects that I found to be headache into something I looked forward to. Part of the reason for this was Taffy’s dedication to understanding my initial starting point and reinforcing the value of dedication in reaching a realistic goal. Before attending coaching with Taffy, my mentality around schoolwork was fairly disorganised and unmotivated. However, once I started attending chemistry lessons with Danny and maths with Taffy, I started to become a better student that was more disciplined and motivated. Not only did their lessons provide me with a comprehensive understanding of the content - something that school often failed to do - they also provided extremely valuable information regarding study habits and what it would take to get the best out of my self. Upon reflection, I think the most valuable things Taffy Coaching taught me were the lessons of working hard consistently and being realistic of the competition. I have now left school not only with an ATAR I'm proud of, but with a skillset that will serve me well in University and whatever field I choose to venture into.

I went to Taffy’s Coaching for HSC Maths and Chemistry. Taffy and Danny helped me navigate through Year 12 and I never would’ve been able to achieve my marks and ATAR without their support.Taffy is a very responsible tutor and he has profound knowledge of the syllabus. He is able to explain tricky concepts with understandable language and relevant examples, and he is organised in terms of lesson plans and the pace of teaching, so no one in the class would fall behind. His class is also tailored so it’s suitable for both stronger and weaker students, as they are advised on doing questions that have different level of difficulty. For example, weaker students focus on more the foundation and stronger students would be doing extension questions that are more challenging. Taffy also has unlimited resources in terms of practice questions and his notes are very comprehensive, which I found it very helpful as a HSC student.Danny is a very passionate and professional tutor, he would break down the syllabus into different sections and explain the theories in a very meticulous way. He made Chemistry an interesting subject to learn and going to his class becomes something enjoyable. Danny’s notes for us has not only the syllabus content, but also examples and other extension content he thinks it’s useful for us to learn. On top of that, Danny regularly assesses our progresses by making us do quizzes since day 1, and I think it’s good practice for both trial and HSC exams. After performing poorly in one of my exams, Danny encouraged me to work as hard as I can and gave me the reassurance that I can do well when I was about to give up; I would forever be grateful for his kind words.I received immense support both physically and emotionally from the tutors and thoroughly enjoyed my time at Taffy’s Coaching. I would definitely recommend it to any students seeking additional academic support!
