Delicious chocolate tart, toasted almond croissant, avo spread on bread. The brewed coffee has a well-balanced taste with a roasted aroma and is not bitter at all. Although there was a long queue, the turnaround was quite fast. Unforgettable! Enjoy! (2023-06)

WONDERFUL bakery. Delicious croissants and toasts. You will have to wait as there is always a queue, but it moves quickly. Take something for the soul and come for a walk in Hyde park.Good mood and positive energy to you.

Looking for a quick and delicious takeaway snack after a walk in the park? Check out the cafe next to the forest park where the croissants and donuts are worth the wait in the queue. The pastries are buttery, flaky, and perfectly baked, while the donuts are light and sweet. They pair perfectly with a hot cup of coffee. Overall, it's a convenient and tasty treat to enjoy while strolling through the park.

This bakery is perfect to grab breakfast from after your quick stroll around Hyde Park with or without a fury friend. Breakfast menu is simple but very tasty. Pastries, however, are just amazing. It’s almost like a sin not getting any even if your’re just there for a coffee. The eclair is one of my favourites. You know what’s in it but it never fails to give me that satisfaction everytime I have it. The staff are friendly too and don’t get flustered with long line. I guess they’re used to it. If you come just before 8am there shouldn’t be a long queue. But if there’s a line it still be moving. It’s worth it.

Came here earlier this morning. As I expected line was out the door but it moved quickly and was worth the wait - absolutely delicious pastries, friendly staff, and a great range. The park is just next door and these guys also stay open til 4pm! I would have gotten coffee too but it looked like there were a few people waiting already. Overall absolutely delicious.

Nice cafe near Hyde park. When you are here in Hyde park definitely grab a croissant and a coffee from here. They have got nice and lovely croissants, cakes and all.

Visited June 2022:Lovely cute bakery that was a bit hard to find but situated right outside a neighbourhood park. Found this on highly rated bakery Google & decided to go for the recommended items - filled or stuffed doughnuts, croissants & eclairs. Visited in the morning (10-11am) and the queue was already long (>10 people in line), but it moved quite quickly. Variety of bakes available was still large.Overall, Chu Bakery offers quality bakes which aren’t overwhelmingly sweet, but they’re a bit pricey. Would pop by again if I’m in nearby though!

Really yummy pastries! Love them all and wish I found out about them earlier. Just note that there are no seating areas inside - just takeaway option. We went when it was raining, so was a little inconvenient packing it to eat outside, but this also meant that there were no queues and crowd that seems to have been usually the case.
