Doggies Day Out Dog Grooming

An incredibly unpleasant experience, the owner Sue is extremely rude and pushy, giving lectures every time we go and that we cannot miss a grooming session even though our dog has short hair. Seems like money might be a key factory rather than caring for the dogs. Our dog hates going there and he has to stay for an unnecessary 5 hours and when we arrive he isn’t ready… what have they been doing for 5.5 hours? when watching him get groomed through the window they are anything but gentle, and when seeing us watching Sue closed the blinds. Extremely rude. We asked her not to shave him, and she replied with she will do what she wants. Sorry I thought we pay for this service and it’s up to us?After telling her to stop and we’ve had enough, she basically threw our dog aggressively on the floor rather than gently giving him over. For someone that works with pets I don’t know how you can be so careless and this behaviour is atrocious. Our dog was so distressed by the most recent experience. We are happy to never go there again.Do not recommend.

I wouldn’t mind putting up with the attitude from staff and high prices if they provided a good service. First time they were great, second time was average, last time it looked like they rushed the treatment on both my dogs which is surprising as they make you keep them there for 8 hours

Super rude woman that owns the business. She was unnecessarily aggressive. I would never go back there. I even had another customer follow me out and see if I was okay after how she spoke to me. That customer was happy to leave her dog there regardless of the awful service to humans, but I’m not. I regret having left my puppy there after the way I was treated.

Fantastic find! The staff are so lovely and clear with everything - it was my pups first time groom and being a new pet owner I had a lot of questions.My boy had the best day and returned home looking and smelling like a million dollars!

Visited for the first time today and could not be happier. We were greeted by a welcoming professional staff that really listened to what l wanted for my little westie. The end result was fabulous and Pippa was very happy when l picked her up. Thank you !

Took my Maggie for a cocker style cut last week in my first visit. Sue and her team are patently very well credentialed and I perceived Sue is rightly proud of the professional level of service she provides. I am smart enough to listen and take advice from such an experienced operator and, in conjunction with my styling preferences which Sue acknowledged, Maggie was groomed ideally and for a fair price.We all know the current waiting lists for a decent dog groomer are very long. Therefore I can’t fault Sue’s emphasis on forward booking in your darling and also being disciplined in respecting the drop off and pick up times. Sue has a business to run and plenty of customers to try to satisfy, so let’s help her to help us. Many thanks Sue.

Sue is too money focussed, I'm afraid.Now we pay less for wonderful grooming by a Mobile Groomer whocomes to me! Great outcome :)

Banjo had dermatitis before he got groomed, scratching and irritating his poor belly to almost raw. Sue and the groomers at Doggies Day Out were so kind and knowledgeable, and let me know they could treat his dermatitis with their products. As a new customer, I was very impressed with their warmth and excellent customer service skills- See you again soon!

Our puppy G looks (and smells) amazing. He can be a real handful so hats off to Sue + team for taking such good care of him.
