Harlequin's Cakes Balgowlah

The service I received whilst trying to purchase a cake for my wife’s birthday was absolutely appalling.Very poor form for a local business.Not helpful.Rude and a shocking attitude.

Lovely lady who served us with great smile and friendly welcome. The honey almond slice and her lamingtons were amazing!Cute little store to top up your sugar rush :)

Unfortunately our kids birthday cake was dry, dense and didn’t taste fresh. Nobody seemed to enjoy it as there was a lot left over and plenty of uneaten portions thrown away. I don’t recommend this place for birthday/big cakes. It was decorated beautifully though.

From - Mallika WeerackoonI placed and order for a birthday cake from Harlequin's Cakes Balgowlah this morning for my friend's 94th Birthday. Vicki, the shop owner asked me the type of cake I wanted. She gave me a list of cakes that were available, but I couldn't find a cake in that list that my friend would enjoy. So she suggested a few other cakes and I picked a chocolate butter cake. I asked Vicki whether they deliver the cake. She said no, but asked for my friend's address and said she would deliver it herself. About 3pm today, I got a phone call from my friend saying that someone delivered a birthday cake for her that was from me. I am so grateful to Vicki who made a cake specially for my friend and delivering it to her free of charge.People like her are hard to find these days and looking forward to visiting her shop next time I'm in BalgowlahThank you Vicki fro your great service!!

Best gluten free chocolate mud cup cake that I have ever had. Coffee is great too.

Seriously the best butter cream sponge cake I've ever had. I got a huge chocolate sponge for my son's birthday, it was very reasonably priced and perfectly done.
