My brother took me here on my recent trip to your beautiful state and I absolutely adored the place! From the vintage venue to the rustic decor, the place felt so homey and I fell in love with all the vegan options! I enjoyed a curried egg"

This is _the_ bakery to visit in South Australia if you are looking for authentic, artisan pastries and baked goods. Rustic atmosphere with lots of open space. Antiques, beautiful flower arrangements and other curiosities fill the space. Don't come too late in the day or you might miss out on their delicious strawberry and rhubarb gallets! Not to mention their delectable cheesecake and strawberry filled cronuts!

Lovely cafe in a small town in the hills. It seems like they converted an old church to a bakery cafe. I love the old atmosphere of interior and exterior. It looks and feels very peaceful. I like their bread, but love their pastry more, either sweet or savoury. Staff were super friendly. Good coffee, too. It was a bit tricky to find the Rise when I first visit this place as the building doesn't look like a shop. Watch out for the small A type sign board on the roadside. The only thing I would ask is that it would be great if there were individual price tags on each bread and pastry.

I have been following Rise on Instagram for so long and finally got to visit! I loved my visit to Rise. I used to work at a patisserie so was really excited to have good quality baked goods. I had a mixture of sweet and savoury and everything I had was delicious. You can't not love real puff pastry with all those crispy layers.Coffee was perfect. My only criticism is that pricing is not clear with the food not having price labels, so you're not sure how much you're paying for everything. The space is really pretty and there is outdoor and indoor seating available. We visited on a weekend and there was plenty of space for everyone despite it being busy which is great! There are also some vintage knick knacks available for purchase.Overall an amazing place that you absolutely should visit when in Nairne

Great spot with some shaded seating outside, great ambience and eclectic furnishings inside but just as important is the service with a smile, open public holidays, great pastries and really good coffee!

Very small town vibe bakery in the Adelaide Hills. Staff were very nice!Great space inside an old church, wide selection of sweet and savoury pastries. My favourite was the rhubarb Danish which was washed down with a cold mulled apple juice which was super delicious on a warm spring day!

Tricky to find but worth it: look for an old church with a car park on a slight hill.Breakfast of champions: vegetarian chilli, fried egg, avocado and fetaWith fresh sourdough toast..and a soy latte.Great service, family friendly, comfortable seating inside and out, plenty of free parking down the side.
