John's been a sensational driving instructor. Our lessons have been super information and enjoyable every time. He'll cheer you on and celebrate even the smallest wins along your journey to become an independent driver. After 10 lessons with John I passed my Ps test first go. We did it John, go team! I'm grateful to have had him as my driving instructor.

I was placed with John, and I couldn't have been happier. If I made a mistake, he reassured me it was okay and how to fix the mistake for the future. He was extremely attentive, educating, polite and comfortable to be around. Without a doubt he was my main reason I passed my driving assessment. I would very highly recommend gold town driving school to anyone I had the privilege of learning how to drive with John and he was so easy kind and caring towards me as I suffer from anxiety and petrified of driving John talk me though the whole lot and show me the ropes of driving after six and half years on my learners I am proud to say thanks to John I'm officially on my p's now if it wasn't for John I still be a learner and wouldn't be where I am today so a huge thank you to John and he's team for everything they have all done to help get where I am today thank you guys so much absolutely love your work

John is the best driving instructor. Super Professional, a wonderful teacher and a genuinely lovely man. My P Plater smiles and waves at him every time she sees him around because he was such a big part of her having the confidence to drive well. I highly recommend!

One of there cars with the instructor driving was speeding and road raging me on the M1, great role model for a driving school. It was the old guy with a white beard, looked like Santa. But it is Christmas time so who knows!

I had Mal about a while ago about 3 or 4 years ago now for getting my licence. He was very patient and kind towards while I was learning. I managed to get my licdnce within 4 or so months because of him (19 at the time) and he was the best instructor I had.

wow!! i just got my p's!! its been a long, emotional journey for me as i am 28 and suffer chronic anxiety when driving...well i used to. that is until i met John from gold town driving! what an amazing man! he helped me push through my fear and self doubt. if it wasnt for him i never would have jumped behind the wheel! his patients and encouragement means the world to me. He made me feel like i wasnt alone, that we were a team! no matter how many times i stalled or made a mistake or even cried because i was so overwhelmed, he would give me back my strength to keep trying! even when i wanted to just give up. he lightens the mood with one of his jokes and his contagious laugh! Anyone learning to drive anxiety or not, would benefit greatly from having been taught by John or any of his staff. I couldnt be happier with the results that John made happen for me! and if you are reading this John, i am eternally grateful, what you have given to me can never be repaid. A life without barriers! you truly are a godsend, thank you so much!
