Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room is spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The whole setup gives a sense of style, calm and tranquility. Breakfast is delicious with home made bread. Ruth is super nice. This is a gem in the southern highlands.

We had a great family gathering at the lodge. The place was comfortable, homey and spacious. Rooms were huge and well decorated and had a small kitchenette which was another bonus. The host was super friendly, breakfast was simple & tasty and Ruth even baked us fresh bread. Plenty of car parking space for our big family and all situated in such a lovely area. Great thai restaurant only 5 mins away. We will definitely return and miss Milly (the dog) already!

We had our loverly holiday here! My two border collies asked me to give 10 stars !! ( Looked at the smile on their faces) The room is spacious and clean, and has everything you need. Everyday you’ll wake up with a beautiful view that you can see from your front door. All you hear are birds singing and wind whispering. Alarm can’t wake me up but at here I wake up early everyday to get ready for the yummy breakfast prepared by Ruth. It’s a good place for you to run away from busy and noisy city life. Ruth is a very helpful, nice and friendly host.

I booked 2 rooms - one for 4 adults, the other for 3 adults. Before we arrived I spoke to Ruth both over the phone and via email who said that many adults would be uncomfortable in the room. Genuine question - why advertise a room has capacity for 5 adults but then don't want to cater for that many adults in the room? I went ahead with the booking anyway. That could be why Ruth was unpleasant to deal with when I arrived.One of our party was also coeliac (which I had explained to Ruth over the phone). When we asked for gluten free bread she advised she needed more notice. Given I had spoken to Ruth over a week before our arrival, I'm not sure what more notice she needed. She even turned her back to me and ignored me when I told her I had spoken to her about it.Overall, the rooms are a decent size, though one (Japanese Room) smelt of dampness. Location is pretty good. Downside is the manager/owner treating you as though she's doing you a favour in 1. Preparing breakfast and 2. Letting you lease the room. Wouldn't recommend because nobody wants to deal with that kind of attitude on a trip.

Clean, beautifully decorated. Warm, themed bedrooms , good breakfast, friendly hostess and staff. Spacious lounge room with fireplace to have our drinks and nibbles. Thank you Ruth

If you have a dog then this is the accommodation for you. Huge rooms, a backyard that is fully enclosed and is larger than many dog parks, lovely breakfast, location is A+. The host is just a wonderful lady who really cares about making your stay a good experience. My new favourite place to stay in the Southern highlands!

Ruth was a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome during our five night stay. Her breakfast service was as best you could get. The lodge itself is very elegant and the rooms are very comfortable. Location is perfect. We couldn't have hoped for better accommodation during our stay in Bundanoon and certainly will return.
