What a find! Beautifully appointed rooms with outstanding food & service (enjoyed the witty 'hugh'mer of our host Hugh & the delicious, home-grown meals from Elizabeth - who is also an incredibly talented artist). Will definitely be returning!

Sept, 5, 2018. We three, Mum, Dad and son, had the very good fortune to book into this amazing B and B whilst on our first motor bike adventure. The owners, Lizzie and Hugh were very friendly, accommodating and helpful in every way. Lizzie is an excellent cook and came up with the most delicious food at dinner and also breakfast on the deck. They even made space for us to park our bikes under cover which we very much appreciated, especially with the inclement weather. They went to great lengths to find out about the road conditions for us for the following day. Thank you both so much, we really enjoyed meeting with you both. You are terrific hosts and we had a fantastic starting point for our six day motor bike tour. Peter and I will certainly come back and stay with you again. We have to now Fukushima Prefecture . Dose of radiation is very high . We are out on a journey now . Since coogal park of memories was very good , and I think trying to do someday B & B us.Sachiko &Masaaki Nagano

Comfortable room and modern bathroom; delicious, fresh food; welcoming, knowledgeable and humorous hosts; fantastic bird life and spectacular views in a tranquil setting - you name it - everything here is excellent!

Our second stay at Cougal Park was as memorable as the first.An absolutely wonderful experience of nature, food and impromptual entertainment.Hosts Liz and Hugh were knowledgeable and generous.We couldn't have had a happier stay, if I could give six stars it would be a pleasure.
