It's always a great place to shop wide variety, clean, well priced and no pressure to browse.

Great area with plenty of parking, both shaded and unshaded closer to the door of shop. They don't have any trolleys as such, just pull along smallish red baskets. This alone stopped me getting several items I wanted. Most of the goods were relatively cheap, but had been to Target before I came here and D&S were only a little bit cheaper in plastic storage, but had more variety. The Cashier was an excellent help, kind and friendly.

Went to the store at dollars and sense in gateway palmerston NT at around 2:35pm. I made my way to the register with 5 fridge storage container for $7.95 each, when the cashier begun scanning it for $9.99 I told the cashier that it was wrong and went off to grab the price tag it showed on the shelves. Made my way back to cashier and showed proof only to be told that they cannot change the price or lower the price due to a mistake. Now as costumer I was not happy I waited for the manager to finish with a costumer to further discuss my unsatisfactory situation. The manager of the store then proceeded to tell me the exact same thing and that they only human which only further my frustration. For a company that pride themselves in customer services I was left with a bitter distaste of disappointment as every company world wide know the rules of “if the company makes the mistakes with the price tag” it is their obligation to sell the product for the price they advertised before removing it and fixing the issue. That rule has always been abide by many years and never failed. So my question is if the company made the mistake in their pricing why should the customer suffer and pay the full price for something that wasn’t obviously corrected or checked in the first place, therefore neglecting their responsibilities. I am very disappointed in both the services and the company especially since it has happened three times during my visit to the store.
