Jims Pool Care Sunshine Coast

I've hired Jim's pool care to take care of my pool. It started well but once we decided to have a stain treatment done my pool was never the same again. The treatment ($200) took a few weeks and my pool couldn't be used due to the low PH required for the treatment. It didn't work. After a few weeks, the stains were all back. They decided to try again with no cost but unfortunately, it didn't work again. They are hard work guys but it was clear that they were not experienced with that treatment and just trying new things on my pool. They were around my pool pretty much every other week. They tried to bring the pool back to balance but it wouldn't last a week, it was all over the place. One week copper levels were high, and the next week hardness was too high. They proposed things that when I researched, it was not recommended at all. At the end of the day, I lost trust and it was consuming too much of my time. I had to terminate the contract. Now I have an unbalanced pool and need to find someone else to bring it back. All that while last summer this pool required very low maintenance. I do not recommend them for anything other than simple pool cleaning services. Also, at some point I felt that they were acting more like a salesman, always trying to push new things. Overall, negative experience and I write this with a heavy heart because the guys are nice and hard working…

We have used Jim’s for nearly 5 years!!! We love the service and they are always willing to go the extra mile. They have helped us maintain all equipment and have replaced broken items cheaply and efficiently. When we do see them (they are very discreet) they are lovely and friendly. The service is extremely thorough and our pool is always immaculate after they have visited. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

My old pool pump began to leak and became very noisy. I contacted Jim's Pool Care Sunshine Coast as I read online that they were very experienced in rectifying pool pump problems. I was advised that my old pump was very corroded and was not able to be repaired, as a result I agreed to the installation of a new pump. Two hours after the new pump was installed I was confronted with a gushing fountain of water spurting from a faulty pipe connection draining my pool down below the skimmer box. After contacting Jim's Pool Care Sunshine Coast they returned to repair the faulty connection, however when they had left I noticed that a new leak had developed where the filter connects to the pump. I contacted Jim's Pool Care Sunshine Coast again to report the new problem but never received a response. Fortunately my local pool shop was able to stop the new leak. I won't know how much it has cost me top up my pool following the rapid draining event until I receive my next water bill.

Extensive coverage on retail versatility. Ample parking. Always a great centre to visit for whatever you need.

Great friendly professional service. Stephen carries majority of products so there is no waiting around for parts to be ordered or purchased. Our job was completed on the spot. Stephen came back the next day to check in & make sure everything was running smoothly. He was willing to answer any question we threw his way. Robyn is very friendly & very accommodating. We will be using this company again for sure.
