Everybody Knows Books

I decided to go around town and visit a bunch of different book stores. While the other stores were fine, Everybody Knows Books was the one I had the best experience in. John and Marion were the kindest people I had ever met. And not to mention their dog was absolutely adorable. It was just overall such a pleasant experience, one that will definitely have me going back.AND, the book that I brought was definitely worth the money. Very affordable and in incredible condition despite some of the books being second hand.I wish you all the best and look forward to seeing you all again when I visit next ☺️

Love this bookshop. The owner is very friendly and helpful, the ambiance is nice and they have different varieties of books.

A must visit in while in Ballarat! Stopped in and discovered a beautiful, organised secondhand bookshop with an impressive diverse selection. John and Marian are an absolute delight plus there is an adorable bookshop doggy.

For a second hand book shop that has only just recently opened it has become my new favourite, they have a great selection on offer in store (at fantastic prices) and plenty more inventory yet to be put out. They are welcoming, friendly and more than happy to take your details for anything you are chasing down to let you know if they can get it for you. They are conveniently situated next to Coles so you can pop in before you shop to pick up a book or two. If you still love to read physical books (you can beat the smell and feel) then you should definitely drop in and see John and Marion as you will not be disappointed.

Was looking for a second hand bookshop in Ballarat and so glad I found this one. Walked in and knew I’d be spending money; ended up walking out with 5 books. Well laid out and friendly owners, would recommend this store highly.

So glad we stumbled across this place, it's huge with so many options and it even has comfy chairs to sit. I love it, definitely worth a visit
