C&K Thornlands Childcare Centre

New building with great facilities, the playground in particular is beautiful. My daughter did enjoy all the attention from the teachers, most of them were caring and well trained. The cons wede that the backyard feels too big, making hard to control the kids. Second, the lack of daily updates to parents about what the kids did during the day, I would get 2 o 3 updates a month from weeks back, never up to date information.

We love C&K Thornlands. All of the educators work so hard to care for and educate our little people. We’re very happy here and grateful for such a good service.

What a great centre! My daughter loves it and all her educators, and comes home happy every time. Any concern or additional needs we might have from day to day have always been listened to and respected. The play area and food in particular are high quality, plus the centre manager has worked admirably through all the difficulties caused by Covid. Very happy to be sending my daughter here :)

What an amazing centre this once was but unfortunately the unprofessionalism and bullying by the Director, Letitia Walton-Smith, has meant most of the great staff have left. I truely feel sorry for the few great staff that remain there as they are there for the children everyday but have to face such bad working conditions from the director daily. Many things were put forward to management by parents about the bullying but they have done nothing which just shows that they don't care about their staff and if the staff can't feel valued then how are they supposed to give our children all of their attention.

My son loves attending C & K Thornlands, the educators and staff are friendly and thoughtful. We love the large playground and the holiday activities they put on for the kids. Overall a really great centre!!

Share similar sentiments with comments against the Director, and the lack of professionalism. There were instances where my child was bullied, despite raising this multiple times both in writing and verbally, the centre did NOTHING. No care and consideration. This showed in their reluctance to attend. No regrets pulling my children out of this centre.

As a mum of 3 kids, I have not ever had a centre that goes so far above and beyond to care for and include all children. From the moment you step through the doors you are greeted by a very friendly staff member. As you walk through to your room, even the kitchen staff stop to say good morning. Stepping into the playground is a whole other level of experience! The kids absolutely love it. I’ve never had such a fabulous outdoor area at any kindy/daycare that my kids have attended. The staff all greet my son and myself. My son has extra needs and the staff help him with his anxiety to give me the opportunity to leave without upsetting him. I’ve not left the centre without being farewelled by each staff member I pass by. I honestly cannot wait to see what this centre helps my son achieve in the coming year. Everyone is so wonderful and the centre is amazing!

Our grandson goes to this centre and we are always so impressed with the educators and their love and enthusiasm.The centre and its facilities are modern, clean and functional for the kids to learn new skills.The vibe is always upbeat yet nurturing and our grandson loves it.Theirs meals provided are second to none.Highly recommended if you’re looking for care.

My children are very happy at C&K and as a parent this makes me happy. We love the set up, the staff and the facilities. We have been here since the beginning and don’t plan on going anywhere.

I could not recommend this centre more highly.It was a very scary thing, thinking about where to send my first child for daycare as I returned to work (as a teacher myself). I was so anxious that I would never find a centre where I felt comfortable leaving him. That all changed when we went for a stay and play here. There are no words that can describe my happiness and gratitude in being accepted and able to send Theodore to C&K Thornlands. Letitia and her team of outstanding and innovative educators who don’t miss a beat. They go above and beyond in every single aspect of Daycare/Kindy life. Theodore has the most exquisite meals cooked by the in house chefs. He has had the most caring, loving, attentive educators who have already instilled a love for learning and exploring while always making him feel so secure in this space away from home. Theodore beams with excitement when we drive into the car park and now doesn’t like leaving at the end of the day. I could not recommend this centre more, and I am so unbelievably grateful for this centre and the incredible staff who work there. Thank you C&K Thornlands, you are simply the best!
