Gracie Barra Central Coast

I love GB Central Coast! I started here around 2 years ago through covid. Everyone was very lovely from the beginning. The students and coaches supported me to learn and improve my Jiu jitsu. Everyone there has always made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to try something new, improve fitness, or simply to meet some great people.

I was initially apprehensive to start training BJJ due to prior injuries, but I’m so glad I did. From the moment I stepped into the building, I was treated like part of the community and now I’m (under)hooked!The coaches are incredibly professional, experienced and friendly. The other people training are genuinely lovely and easy to get along with. Everyone is equally supportive as they are driven to learn and grow.I can’t recommend training here enough. I’m happier since training, stronger, fitter, lost weight and met good people. Give it a try!

A caring, inclusive and supportive place for kids to learn jiu-jitsu. The coaches are all highly professional and great towards the kids. A great place for kids to learn discipline, empathy as well as general life-skills.

Hands down the best place to start Jiu Jitsu. All coaches and staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, and other students are very welcoming and supportive. If you’ve been thinking about starting, this is the place to be!

I recently made the decision to try whatever sport I thought I would feel the most uncomfortable in and challenge myself to make it my most confident, and the team at Gracie Barra Central Coast have been incredibly supportive and encouraging! Its now the highlight of my week and I feel a part of the community, couldn’t recommend them more to anyone who feels hesitant starting out!

We cannot recommend Gracie Barra enough! The kids loving going there and have learnt so much in terms of jui jitsu but also respect and have grown confidence in themselves and speaking within a group setting.My partner and I have also started and have become addicted. A great bunch people and are stoked we have become part of the family there!

Great environment to learn and is all inclusive and very family friendly. I highly recommend this place to EVERYONE I speak to!! The most friendly place to either start your Jiu Jitsu journey or to restart in such good atmosphere where everybody support each other as a team! Every staff member is so passionate about what they do and will go above and beyond for every member!!

Starting Jiu Jitsu at Gracie Barra Erina was the best decision I have ever made!! I recently moved to the peninsula but continue to train at Erina because of the amazing coaches and community I have found there.I started with the women’s classes to learn self defence but I quickly fell in love with BJJ and now do all different classes.I have gained so much from BJJ including self confidence, situational awareness, fitness, friendships and community.I couldn’t recommend this place enough!!!

Gracie Barra Central Coast is a brilliant place to train Jujitsu. I started training to help with my job. My job at times can be a contact sport. The skills I am learning from the professors, coaches and other jujitsu practitioners at Gracie Barra Central Coast help me to perform my job safely and ensure I come home to my family without injuries. Jujitsu is the most humbling sport I have participated in and the humility gained helps me become a better person. However when this is coupled with fantastic safe learning environment allows me to become a better jujitsu practitioner as well. (Better being a loose term). I am grateful to be part of Gracie Barra Central Coast family and thankful to all to people I continue to train with.
