Australia Post - Gymea LPO

Avoid at all costs. Came in yesterday for a passport renewal was served by a lovely woman who took my passport photos then she handed me over to a extremely rude man, I’ve never been talked down to so rudely at a Post Office in my life! Said he wouldn’t lodge it for some reason then when explained the situation to him he refused to listened threw my paper work back at me got up and walked out the back. Ended up going to Miranda LPO great service in and out within 5-10 minutes.

Refused to take a passport photo of a 4months old baby despite being a credited passport photo/ID post office. The passport office confirmed they are obliged to take the photo if not specifically mentioned on the website that they wont.

The worst service at all time. Hardly picks up a phone and very rare to be helpful, especially if you're served by the guy in there. The lady is nice.

Been going to the post office for years. Staff have been fine. They are very busy and perhaps there have been times where the owner has been a little short once with me and I noticed with other customers. Australia Post not delivering parcels to my home when husband and I are both working from home does not help an already busy post office. Overall I can't complain about the service.

Never had any issues with this PO. One of only a few in the area that’s easily accessible and open on a Saturday, great full for those of us that work 9-5 and can’t go during the week. The people there have always been lovely and helpful. My assumption is it’s just a husband/wife team, they clearly work long and hard, which must be stressful so perhaps that’s what comes across sometimes. But they always seem to do their best. Yes they get busy, especially on Saturdays but that’s to be expected. But I appreciate what they do!Sad to see today the abuse one lady, the only one working today due to sickness, had to cop because of some rude and entitled customers who couldn’t time manage themselves better, or shut up and have abit of grace and empathy. Kindness, patience and understanding go a long way. I’ve always given them that and have received it in return.

The best post office I have ever dealt with. Always busy and staff are so efficient and on the ball. Passports done on the spot. Advice and parcels quick and accurate always. Staff are run off their feet but so pleasant, professional and super efficient. Thank you!

Too small too slow too many customers. Star Track delivery leaves card in letter box sorry we missed you" timed at 4:30 pm when we have been home all day

If I could leave no starts I would.I have tried 4 times to lodge and emergency child passport. I have called up three times each time prior to arriving and have never had someone answer the phone, rude staff inside not even willing to let me speak. As a local you have lost my business for good. I understand busy periods but each time I have gone in the post office is empty and I am still turned away. Carrying a newborn and two year old. Simply not acceptable customer service

Attempted to call 6 times, phone just rang out.I went in and was told they dont answer the phone if there are customers in the store.Tried to lodge a passport application for a child, told to come back in 2 hrs. I asked if an appointment needed to be made or if there were specific times, she said, just come back later. Waited 2 hrs. Went back was told to come back that afternoon.I asked what time to come and if I could call beforehand to ensure someone would be there. Told I wasnt welcome there and to go to another post office because I was being rude by asking too many questions.I have two kids under 2 and all I needed was a little Information about when to go so I didnt waste my time or the staffs time.I honestly dont understand what happend and how someone could be that unhelpful and dismissive. :(
