What happens when Grasshopper soccer asks a 5-year-old to play with 8-year-olds wearing soccer boots?I have played soccer all my life, and I know that allowing such young kids to wear soccer boots is crazy. Anyone who has played the game against opponents wearing soccer boots knows how painful a kick or a stomp can be. Children this young do not have the coordination or experience to protect themselves or others. The coaches should not ask younger kids ages 5 and 6 to play against older and bigger kids (twice their size and weight) wearing soccer boots. It only causes completely preventable injuries to young kids.If you are a parent of a younger child, DO NOT sign them up with Grasshopper soccer. Find a better academy with coaches who understand younger kids and care about their health and safety.

End of the term carnival today was awesome. The kids are really looking forward to next term.
