I found Evans on line. I live in Brisbane and they are based in Melbourne. The whole experience was so easy. I emailed them and they responded . We corresponded back and forth with queries. All were answered promptly. They shipped a box to me with all address labels and packaging for my shoes. Once they completed my shoes, they shipped it back to me in a very well packaged box. The shoes were back to new, and they went above and beyond to what I expected. Would go back there in a second for any future repairs.

EXEMPLARY SERVICE. After a misunderstanding regarding the repair of a favourite pair of shoes I was blown away by the corrective action of Zoe of Evans. In all my retail experience I have never encountered such a professional, courteous and comprehensive apology, and follow up. All within hours of visiting the shop I was messaged a range of options with photographs to facilitate my preferred choice of repair. My shoes were ready the next morning looking fabulous. Thank you Zoe and Evans’ Cobbler for service I won’t forget.

Eye-wateringly expensive. Quick to take your money, very slow to deliver.Workmanship was fine but no better than other places where it doesn’t take 5 months and 3 half-finished attempts to get the service they demand you pay for up-front.For bag repairs, I have been surprised to find that the original designer stores offer a far faster service from friendlier staff at a fraction of the price!

I was not going to trust just anyone with my vintage Chanel bag.......it wasn't in bad shape but the tassel had fallen off, the lining had split in a couple of places and the leather woven into the chain was perishing........it is pretty old though! They did an amazing job of not taking anything away from the years of love but bringing it back to life. The customer service is fabulous too. I highly recommend Evans.

I had evans put rubber soles on the bottoms of my redwing boots. They peeled after wearing 3 times. I took my boots in after the 3 month window (because of COVID) and they wanted to charge another $150. Can’t say I had a good experience.I found another cobbler in the CBD who quickly diagnosed that it was likely the glue and easily peeled the rubber off. They charged $40 for the re-glue.

I was extremely satisfied with the quality of service and professionalism. The staff were also very knowledgeable and courteous! It's superior quality for the discerning customer."
