Deluxe Air Conditioning

DO NOT USE THIS CONTRACTOR. They installed our AC units - they have not run properly for 3 summers now. Pump has been replaced after Marc dumped it on our doorstep for us to sort out ourselves. We have tried contacting him several times and no response. We referred him to a friend of ours. Their AC units broke down their first summer. They too tried to make contact with no response. We had an independent AC contractor look at the problem. Installation is incorrect, condensers installed back to front. Needless to say, our AC experience with him is a disaster.

DeluxeAir are a completely incompetent organisation - they installed the AC unit and Heat Recovery Ventilators in 31 apartments and three offices that I built, and I’ve had nothing but trouble since.One of the Daikin ACs has lost all its gas and Daikin have confirmed there are three leaky joints dating back to the original installation. Elsewhere, they have stuffed up the AC condensate drains, so that the units drip inside the apartments. These installations are simple to get right during construction but incredibly expensive to rectify if they have been done badly.They forgot to install the necessary external filters on six larger HRVs (despite the units having large stickers on their sides warning that filters were required) and so far I’ve spent $5000 repairing just one of these.The outlet vents on three HRVs were just left off altogether - no outlets installed in the ceiling, the outlet ducts just left flapping about in the ceiling space. On at least three others they installed the outlet vents but didn’t bother to connect the ducting. And many of the HRVs have been installed in locations where conflicts with plumbing etc make changing the filters out impossible. I paid them $400 to install the missing vents for one unit, out of desperation - but they won’t answer their phones any more… completely unprofessional behaviour, bordering on criminal.And the ducting they used in one of the offices collapsed under suction - the wrong product was selected and installed for the job.As near as I can judge, DeluxeAir is both incompetent and unethical - they are bad prior to deal with and I will NEVER allow them to have any role in my future projects.
