Bought a lot of things from 2nds world. But like everything else you get what you pay for. Make sure you see the guy with the pony tail. You have to know exactly what you want because you cant expect the sales guy to read your mind. They are very busy but remember loads of sales staff mean higher prices. As for delivery I have never had a problem. I bought a 10k washer and a 10 k dryer last Sunday at about 1.30pm from Cremorne. Each item was at a different warehouse. It was in my house at 3pm. I couldn't get it that fast if I went and got it myself. I have bought things from DJ's (very expensive and poor after service) Grace Bros (don't bother) The good guys (stores differ in service and stock what they say they have in stock on net is not the same when you go to shop)

Here is an experience for you. I went there because the prices are good. They sold me a fridge that would fit in the kitchen but would NOT fit in the front door or the kitchen door. Apparently they do this all the time. The driver said they will call me about it and they did not in five hours of this occurring. I called them and asked them for a full refund and they have short changed the refund $80.00. I could not even receive the fridge and they are charging me delivery for something that couldn't even be delivered. I wouldn't use them again. Once they get your money they aren't interested in doing the right thing. Better to go with a larger establishment that will honour customer service. Great to make $80 out of people for nothing.

Would not recommend, staff were intentionally misleading about stock. I asked staff specifically about two products that I had seen online and was told that there was none in stock. I was told only two models were in stock. After buying the last one"

I purchased a dishwasher on a Saturday after going physically into the shop. I paid for delivery and installation, but was not told when that would happen. I then called up 2 days later (Tuesday) and they assured me I would hear from them that day. By Friday I still hadn't heard from them and again they assured me the person will call me TODAY. Monday rolls around, still haven't heard anything, I call again, today they tell me the person will call me tomorrow and hung up on me. HORRIBLE customer service from everyone I have spoken to on the phone, the sales rep who sold it to me was nice enough, but as soon as I bought it and have paid for it then everything goes out the window! I will be canceling the delivery and install of this dishwasher and will go elsewhere in the future! DO NOT shop here, it's not worth it!

DO NOT USE! WORST STAFF AND EXPERIENCE from any online retailer. I currently have a case lodged with ACCC regarding this company. Ordered and paid for a washing machine and was then told in an email 'sorry we don't have that machine it was an error listed on our website'. Several days of nightmarish 'customer service' back and forth and it was finally resolved unsatisfactorily. The reviews are true. Stick to Appliances online or another REPUTABLE retailer. Not worth the hassle.

Have never had such good service. The Lady dealing with online orders is fantastic! She stayed friendly and professional even though I ordered the wrong fridge not once but twice. She sorted it out without any trouble kept me updated with calls throughout. Probably called 5 times and did speak to a man once, he was rude and abrupt! Not sure what the lady's name is (could be Abigail) but she is keeping this place running!

Terrible website and customer service to go along. The website is deceiving and offers a same day delivery option, but look at the top of the page....if you order after 2pm then it's not offered. But they'll still take your money. If you click the question mark next to the options there is no further explanation. They are taking advantage of people who don't read every word on every page...there is no warning pop up when you select an option that is no longer an option and sadly the consumer laws let them get away with this slight of hand! I get it's only $20 but I will never use this company again and will tell everyone I can about the poor customer service and downright thieving website!

I ordered an item from the website but later realised it was the wrong model (and they don’t range the one that I wanted), so I was pleased to learn that they would provide a refund for returning the item — but they incorrectly advised there would be a 10% restocking fee. I had subsequently found on their website that they actually offer a full refund, which they honoured once I pointed it out. So overall I was satisfied with the outcome, but these are basic store policies that staff should be aware of.

Bought a washing machine that broke down under warranty they came a week ago and said they'd replace it...3 calls chasing that promise... still no replacement.Last time I was in there, the staff were more interested in each other than the few customers, so I left without any acknowledgment. I've been shopping there for over 10 years - that's stopped now. Like my washing machine.

Terrible service, be warned. For the slight discount you get, it is not worth the amount of stress and time lost dealing with these people. Our machine lasted 3 weeks before breaking down, it then took 3 weeks for them to get a technicians out to fix the problem. It also required no less than 10 phone calls and threatening emails to make it happen. poor business practices, stay away
