Genuinely friendly service.Delicious meal of grilled Barrimundi with fresh steamed vegetables. After a long drive from SA arriving at the Commercial Hotel was like an oasis in the desert.Highly recommended.

This would have to be the best pub room I have been in for a long time.The beds are very comfortable and the linen fresh an luxurious.The bar has a very friendly atmosphere with great stories to be told by the locals.New people have taken over and are doing up the pub and accommodation .So far it’s looks fresh yet still keeping the old ambiance. It was a fabulous start to our silo art trail and will be coming here again.

Tried calling today to ask about the accommodation. Was asked in a rather annoyed voice if it was for some event they must be holding up that way. When I said no she told me they went taking bookings and she had another phone call to get to. I asked if she could recommend anywhere near by she cut me off telling me she had a more urgent call to get to. Not sure why she bothered answering the phone if she didn't have time for it. She didn't ask for when the booking would be for. So I am assuming it is until further notice? Maybe the hotel should have on their website they are not currently taking bookings?

Great hotel meals. Very comfortable bed. No chair, aircon or hanging space in small bedroom. All at ground level. 40s facilities down passage. Renovating beautiful large room for dining room. Would gave been beautiful in its heyday!

Accommodation great. Meals great.Hospitality great. Friendly and inviting. Recommend the stay.
