Rented the deluxe cabin as I was told the park was booked out for camper trailer sites. This was not the case, many site’s available to the day I left. I was told the cooking equipment in the unit were supplied once there found there was minimal, went to borrow a chopping board, potato peeler, sharp knife, mixing bowl and cake tin from communal kitchen but nil there also. Therefore had to drive to Innisfail to purchase what was in my camper. Unacceptable. The unit had a stench that took hours to remove from the inside, the staff had not bothered to air out the room. On the veranda it smelt like dog do do, there was rubbish stored under the unit which may of been the reason. I had an industrial fan I brought blowing 24/7 to air the area, my 10 yo son was dry reaching. There grout missing from tiles, dirty old blue tack holding posters up, main room mirror missing from the wall. 1 power point didn’t work. Bunk beds not made up linen just thrown on the bed.Everywhere around the campsite needed maintenance, dogs permitted to wander yet the gardener threatened my son and mate they would be thrown out of the park for being 10 year old boys. When I approached the staff at the end of my stay they didn’t care and walked away. Said I should of let them know. I had call back and asked if the kitchen was fit for purpose, if the communal lacks equipment what is a person to think. Will never return because of the attitude of the staff, was advised not to go there. Far nicer park on the beach up the road.

I stayed in a villa, which was very clean. I could walk inside everywhere with bare feet. The park is a hop and a skip to the beach. The beach walking path is lovely. The calmness of this area cannot be described in words. The people here work hard and are passionate about providing this sanctuary for travelers. There's no public transport whatsoever. Message to Bubba: collect everyone's signatures to demand daily shuttle buses to Innisfail/ingham and take themnto Bob! Everyone will sign.

Fantastic place to stay ! Last minute organised a dog friendly cabin for us and Glenda the owner went above and beyond to calm me down while having a panic attack on the phone to her. The staff here are all wonderful people, the cabins were clean and fresh and the beach house we were shown for the rest of our stay was phenomenal ! Huge size, clean, comfortable beds and right across the road from the beach. The food and drinks at the Pool Deck Cafe were delicious, we will be back for a longer stay next time, cannot fault this wonderful place.

A great little park. Friendly helpful staff. Amenities basic but functional. Each site is a bit different but most are a bit tricky to get into and out of due to cars but everyone really helpful and moved vehicles. Good pool area for little ones. A fantastic dig friendly beach especially at low tide. Make sure you shop before you arrive but you can get milk at the park and the service station has a few bits and bobs to get you by. A great 2 weeks stay.

Booked in for a week in a van with friends who booked into a cabin freind was rushed to hospital 2days before arrival when they rang the park to cancel their booking were told sorry you did not give enough notice to get a full refund can only give you 50 percent back. Not all that impressed with that response as the airline gave full refund with dr cert as proof of illness. Friend is still in hospital 7 days later.

We booked to stay here for school holidays and paid our $90 deposit then covid hit and we were not allowed to go anywhere. They never gave us our deposit back. Told us we could have credit for 12months but can't use it during school holidays which prevented us from being able to use it as we live so far away.
