Great local mechanic

I am not spam.I will find the invoice and post it.I bought my first car (a second hand car) and asked for a full service, a complete car check, making it very clear that I wanted to trust my car for a long trip so I allowed him to take as much as time he needed it to check everything!It was not a cheap service(Lucky that I didn't went for the long trip, if not, I would have been stock nowhere with a broken car).Now I learned that he did not check the timing belt !!! and I didn't know the fact that you have to change it every 60-70 thousand km ... but isn't it his job to know? apparently every mechanic knows that (but some of them decide not to change it)... the car broke down this week, 6 months later (not using my car more than go to work for the pandemic), with an extremely expensive repair. Partly because I was ignorant partly because I trusted this mechanic. I learned the hard way.If I were you, I would never trust this mechanic! I'll never do it again !!!(And remember to change your car's belt time to time no matter what your mechanics says or does. I learnt the lesson).

Fantastic mechanic, service and transparency is always first rate ! I travel from Mount Martha to get my work vehicles and personal vehicles serviced and looked after by the team there.

Quality and expertise

Really good work, and good service, will definitely go there again. The entrance is a little hard to find, and slightly dangerous, because it's on a winding country road where you wouldn't really expect a vehicle service business to be. But all good!

I won't go back. Possibly a knowledgeable mechanic but has a shocking attitude.

Big thank you to John and Nathan for all their hard work on my 1997 Toyota Supra.Car needed a lot of work, they kept me updated on progress and costings and finished ahead of schedule.I cannot believe the difference now with performance and handling .I highly recommend J Mac for all mechanical needs.
