Went to Anatolian Hair Design for first time yesterday - what a find! I got the perfect haircut from Megan who listened to my requests, made great suggestions and gave me the haircut I’d been hoping for. The salon is centrally located in great part of Lonsdale St and has a very welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. Megan is a true professional - brilliant cutter with a gentle, caring approach. This great hair experience was topped off with Turkish coffee (perfectly made) served with delicious Turkish delight. What a wonderful way to get your hair done! I have no hesitation recommending them and will certainly be back. Thanks Megan!

Megan is amazing! I got a balayage and cut with her and she worked magic. The balayage was seamless and the cut absolutely gorgeous. Would highly recommend!!

So grateful to have found Megan – I wouldn't trust my hair to anyone else in Canberra. I have bird's nest hair – different textures and just so much of it – but Megan has not only tamed it, she has made it look good. Megan's work is incredible, the vibe of her salon is super relaxed, and I have always walked away thrilled with the results! Until I came to Megan, I had never gotten my hair done properly before. Both times I've seen her I've gotten a 3/4 balayage and the results are amazing. She was very professional while also being gentle and kind, explaining the process the whole way to ensure I felt comfortable.Also, a fantastic special touch is the delicious Turkish coffee she serves, which goes well the wonderful chats I always have with her. Will not recommend this place my hair fell out as soon as walked out the doors. I just wanted it up curly and said if didn’t look good up to just have it curly she seemed more interested in getting me out of the place than doing the hair I wanted. I was charged $80 for it too. She also didn’t bother to get it right when I told her that it was for a Halloween event she said it will get messy anyway for Halloween. She didn’t even ask if that’s how I wanted it and if I was happy with it, she just hinted for me that she was done when she pointed me to the counter. It’s like she could doing the style I wanted so she gave up even though I said she could just curl it.

Happy to keep making the trip from Sydney to have Megan do my cut and colour because she is a magician. Consistently beautiful results, every time, and she instinctively knows what will suit your face and complexion. Couldn’t believe with my last colour she made me look instantly less tired than when I walked in - I didn’t even know hair colour could do that! They have herbal tea and Turkish coffee and real Turkish Delight. So if you like black tea with milk, just BYO - it’s worth it.

I went in for a haircut (first time since 2019!). I told Megan I wanted to keep as much length as possible - and she did exactly that! Extremely happy with the end result and how healthy my hair looks again!!

The best hairdresser experience I’ve ever had. Megan is lovely, the wash and head massage was dreamy. She did exactly what I wanted, gave great advise and the Turkish coffee did not disappoint. I was so shocked by how affordable my hair cut was! 10/10 recommend :)
