Went for the ramadan night markets in search of the Pandan Milk tea and it did not disappoint whatsoever !! My friends and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since.

Nothing like this in syd! Best Malay/Indonesian food... Equal or better than what I've had overseas.Sooooo delicious, love the range of food that you don't typically find in syd or any one restaurant AND it's well priced. So grateful for delivery.Would travel to lakemba for the first time for this.Hope they continue coming to sylvania the meantime!!Oh... And chicken liver sambal plus tumeric rice- mind blown! (A little hesitant of liver unless it's pate normally but this is so incredibly moorish, you can't stop).

Beautifully delicious home-style Cocos + Christmas Island cuisine that has strong Malaysian influences. Highly recommend their lamb and chicken satay, sup kambing (a spiced lamb soup), and Nasi Lemak Bungkus.

Came to know about this restaurant from a hotel staff, at the hotel I was staying. I came during Ramadhan and was told they are also open during fasting month. Had a good satay, nasi lemak bungkus like back home in Malaysia. Was quite a good food and taste, portion and packaging.

I was surprised with all these amazing comments, but when i got there and ordered the chicken sate i was shocked it was still bleeding and kinda raw. I saw their chicken was in a plastic bag and marinated, all the do just put on the grill but when they get too busy, they wont cook their chicken satay properly. I wouldnt go here anymore. You should cook your satay longer and make sure its grilled well and not raw in some part. Be very careful to people who has children, check your satay is well cooked. Their customer servives also appalling, they dont smile and i agree with some comments above, the old man was kinda grumpy and wasnt so friendly,

A nice, casual lunch spot if you are looking to have Malaysian food. The service was friendly we got there just before 2pm on a Saturday, it wasn't busy. We had the Nasi Lemak Bungkus, mixed vegetables and rendang with biryani rice and a serve of chicken satay. They tasted great and authentic. I would say they're market prices and affordable. Sadly the curry puffs I heard were great had sold out so we couldn't try them.

We have only just moved into the neighbourhood but discovered this gem just before Christmas and have already returned. This family-run staple of Lakemba does the most delicious food and is always so friendly. Highly recommend the Chicken Satay, Nasi Goreng and roti with Beef Rendang. They'll feed you well and make you feel like family, definitely a favourite on Haldon Street.
