If there was a sixth star, I'd choose that. Brought my Holden Astra to them to chase down a few weird noises and got a fix that day for a fantastic price that made my car run better than it had in years!The mechanic I spoke to (didn't have to speak to a third party regarding my car!) was absolutely wonderful to deal with - fantastic phone manner, friendly, happy to explain his findings, very insightful, and obviously cares about the work he does. They don't push unnecessary work, they take pride in what they do, and I'll highly recommend them to anyone wanting to find a reliable mechanic.

Brought my car to three mechanics including Toyota and they couldn't find the problem with my suspension. Lewis found the problem in two hours and fixed it for a great price. Thanks for a great job. I now love driving the car again.I never give 5 stars but I did

As two females unfortunately the dealer we bought the car off gave us the dodgy deal.. But with such amazing hard work from this team we now are able to set off on our adventure. Went to these guys for the first time today after some successive difficulties & problems with my ageing 06 Toyota Hilux that other mechanics were unable to diagnose nor fix despite spending thousands $$$.I approached these guys as the claim to be 4x4 specialists. Purposely didn't give them much background before dropping the vehicle in, and didn't expect much more than a basic service as I didn't want a huge bill to follow either, something I was accustomed to with 'other mechanics' due to misdiagnosing the problem to then paying big dollars to have the same problem exist afterwards having replaced gear that didn't need replacing and/or wasn't the cause of the problem. I'd basically lost faith in being able to find a competent mechanic.I can say these guys picked up everything that was a problem (first go) in their report on collection, they found all the problems i knew about and diagnosed a problem that was taken into 'another mechanic' 3 times and yet never diagnosed despite it being the primary focus for the vehicle being in the 'other' mechanics workshop.All this was done with one single visit and at reasonable price mostly due to the skill, experience and competency of the mechanic I would suggest. They fixed the crucial problems and gave me a list of the outstanding issues, with same day turnaround, these guys are brilliant. They claim their specialist 4x4 mechanics, and I believe it, true mechanical engineers. Will be using these guys going forward, I understand why there is a long wait to get in, because its hard to find good help, well worth the wait. Thank you for your help.

Dropped my daughter here in the morning to pick up her Dmax. On the way into the city for work my check engine light came on and I lost all turbo boost in my MQ Triton.I called everywhere but could not get in as it was a week and a half until Christmas.....I was in deep trouble.I have never used Jonlin but on the off chance I called and spoke to Grace who took the details. Within an hour I had a call from Lewis who told me to bring it in and he would have a look. He found a cracked intercooler hose and had me on my way within an hour! He even rectified a couple of issues he found from my previous vehicle service.Thanks Grace and Lance, you saved my Christmas.

The team at Jonlin provided great advice about sorting the suspension out on my new Pajero. I now have a car with competent suspension with a 2 inch lift which steers better than ever and can handle the rigors of off road with a camper van in tow. Great advice, good quality workmanship. I look forward to them servicing my car at less than half the price of Mitsubishi dealerships. Very happy to recommend them.

Had my 2002 Pulsar serviced at Jonlin, very happy with all aspects. I provided my own oil and filter which they were more than accommodating with.There were a couple of recommendations from the service, but no pressure at all to carry them out, they even said both can wait. I didn’t actually meet anyone as dropped off and collected out of hours, but will definitely use them again and recommend to others.I work in the car trade so have quite high standards of how I like things to be done on my car, and was not disappointed in any way. One of the main concerns for anyone leaving their car with a new mechanic is trust. Jonlin Automotive Engineers earned my trust with my very first visit and their expert care and attention is very much appreciated. I always feel like I leave there with an excellent understanding of what work was carried out and what I might need to look out for down the track. I can't believe the best mechanics in Brisbane just happen to be my local - these guys are excellent!
