Bridge Motel Wellington

It lovely to arrive after a long day on the road to a happy smiling face and a warm greeting. Very clean and comfortable room, very handy to everything in the town. We have no hesitation in recommending Bridge Motel and we will be returning.

Older style motel rooms but lovely and clean. Fresh white linen and good pillows. Very friendly management staff and team. Only negative is the refrigerator door opening is awkward against the wall.

We were a group of people recently stayed at Bridge motel in Wellington. We came across owners of motel Aiden and Benita who are exceptionally good in their customer service. They personally take interest in any matters while your stay and resolves it with great responsibility and integrity to satisfy their customers even after having fairly good numbers of employees working at the motel. The motel rooms are awesome, clean and very nice for your stay at great location. I would highly recommend your stay at this motel if you visit Wellington!!!

We stopped here for one night during our travels. We dealt with Aidan on the phone and he was very helpful and courteous. We arrived at night, stayed in Room B33. The room is very small and outdated. A curtain on the wall tricks you to believe there is a window, but there isn't. We had to leave the door open to see inside the room in the morning. The light in the bathroom did not work and because the cold and warm are inverted and you can't see, I filled up 6 bottles of water from the hot tap! Nevermind, thought it was funny when I realized in the morning. On the very positive side, the gardens on the bridge side of the motel are beautiful, well attended to and a great space if you're stopping with a dog. We slept very well as it was quiet and the bed was comfy enough. All in all, it's OK for the price for an overnight stay but don't expect too much in the room.

This place is alright if you need to rest your head or are away for work.Some bad points. The shower and sink in my room leaked unless you used a pipe wrench to turn off the taps. The bathroom also got wet after a shower, like real wet.The room around my bed wasn’t enough to properly stand, it was just sort of crammed in there.There was a weird curtain in the rooms that led to nowhere, it was just decoration.HOWEVER. Some good points. Room was tidy and clean. It did have a cosy feeling. Almost country.The grounds and pool areas are very nice, like a drink with the lads in the gazebo thing was great. The bed was very comfy when you actually got into it. Like very comfy. It is a great locations with a laundry, pubs and servo in easy walking distance. The lady who owns or manages the place was friendly and approachable, also happy to help in what she can. The room had everything you needed, so microwave, TV, jug…So yeah 3/5. Comfortable but not somewhere you say is stylish.

Just a stop over for one night and they were really friendly and accommodating for a late arrival. Plus the shower had good pressure and was hot. The bed was comfy too.

Few issues.1. Shower go from cold to boiling hot without any notice and scolded my wife's skin. It happened regularly during our stay and frankly it's extremely dangerous.2. Bed was like a slab of concrete. Terrible.3. Very old smelly carpets.4. Tiny rooms which are really alot smaller than expected. Very small.5. Walls need paint and rooms very old outdated. Needs renovations drastically.Horrible place.

There are 2 parts to this Motel. An old block & a updated one. The Web only shows the new.The updated rooms are good value. The old are way overpriced.Lovely grounds & walk to the river.

Hadn’t had a shower for 3 days. Got up at 4.30am to get ready to work NO HOT WATER. No hot water until 5.30am too late now. No bin in toilet and 1/3 roll of toilet paper
