Stumbled across this great pub with a lovely atmosphere. We sat back in super comfortable blue velvet chairs and enjoyed a glass of Whipper Snapper beer which was recommended by the owner. Would have settled in for the night if we'd discovered this pub earlier.

Excellent menu, plated up really nicely, clean with a beautiful outlook of the new" green Queenstown. Queenstown is now a must visit for all the right reasons

Not what it used to be! AND that is a good thing.This establishment is on the up, trying to cater to the astute traveller after a good quality pub and restaurant. Great food with all your favorites and now on tap great local brews.They are trying to distinguish themselves from the average , and I like what they are doing . The pub and restaurant area has a feeling of home with great little nooks and corners to chat and regale the stories of the train or the local mountain bike scene.Worth a stop and I'll be staying here next visit to the beautiful west coast

Flathead, chips and salad was ok pretty standard pub meal, other meal was bolognese pasta, again ok (not as good as we make at home), was a big serving.

Went last night for dinner, second night in a row. Did an amazing job with only one cook in the kitchen and a packed house! Sure, waited an hour for food, but expected it to be longer, with only one person cooking. Had the steak sanga and flat head and chips. Staff are lovely and doing a great job in trying times. Highly recommend.

Old style outdated motel accomodation. Old mattress with sheet for doona cover. Base for mattress torn and hanging down onto carpet. Toilet leaking water onto the floor. Mould on shower tiles. Broken laminate on basin cupboard. Basin slow draining.But the meals were top notch…

Had a lovely stay in a room overlooking the station, comfortable, hot showers with good pressure and an awesome bed! The pub grub was great and the live music really set a lovely ambience! Will be back for sure

Extremely slow. Concentrate only on the bar and forget the ones out back eating. I ordered 3 raspberries which did not come. Waited over an hour for the meal to arrive. Great place if you have plenty of time and not thirstyFood was badSome staff were helpful at the back bar

Good place but the food was disgusting. Fried rice not cooked . NOT HAPPY ABOUT THE SERVICE AT ALL NO APOLOGY WHATSOEVER REPLACED THE FRIED RICE BUT THE CHEF WHO BROUGHT THE FOOD DIDN'T SAY A WORD JUST PUSHED THE PLATE TO ME IN MY TABLE WHAT A SHAME
