Jake is a highly professional deck builder with a range of skills. He was creative and very accommodating. He was able to work with me on my project to not only stick to my budget but he was able to exceed my expectations. Obtaining a realistic cost and timeframe was very desired. I highly recommend his service and can't wait for the next project.

CAUTION: We spent over $36,000 on our deck and within 10 months, we are facing additional expenses to repair it.Only three months after completing the deck, we noticed that it appeared patchy, dry, and dusty. We contacted Jake, the contractor, who informed us that we should have already re-oiled the deck as they had only applied 1-2 coats. We were surprised as we didn't expect to re-oil the deck so soon, but we followed his instructions and used the same product. However, after ten months, our deck looks terrible. After seeking several independent opinions, we learned that the deck wasn't coated enough initially and that the oil should have lasted much longer than three months. We have been advised to remove the product and reseal the deck, which will cost us between $3,000 and $5,000.We reached out to Jake, but he dismissed our complaints, claiming that the other parties were lying and that it was not his fault. He refused to help and told us to deal with it ourselves. When we asked him to inspect the deck three months after installation, he refused and asked us to send pictures instead.Moreover, the contractors left our yard in a messy state, making it look like a mud pit, and we had to spend more money to fix it. As evident from the attached pictures, it was a terrible experience.Lastly, I overheard the workers joking about leaving rubbish under the deck and covering it up. When they saw me nearby, they immediately changed their tone and pretended to pick up the trash. It was an embarrassing and unprofessional act.

I do not know how anyone gets this business to do their work.I have made two appointments and he has not turned up at either.I appreciate it is busy at the moment however do not make appointments to meet potential clients when you have no intention of keeping them.It is frustrating sitting around all day waiting and he doesn't show.

My Deck recently completed a Flyover 9x6 carport with an insulated roof system. The whole project was managed well from start to finish. The attention to detail and quality of workmanship was outstanding. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending My Deck for any future projects you may have.

I recently had my rotting timber deck and steps replaced with composite by Jake and his team. They have done an amazing job. The new deck is better than the original. I was concerned that a glass insert in the old deck would cause issues but the boys did a perfect job. Very professional, punctual, hardworking and friendly - a quality job at a reasonable price. I highly recommend them.
