We had an amazing time on the weekend exploring the Blue Mountains village of Leura with Sue at Mountains Tales. Her engaging walking tour is a great all round introduction to the Federation town and we learned a huge amount. Bring a hat and some water. A must-do.

Being a frequent visitor to the Blue Mountains, I thought I knew Leura well. Not so! Sue helps us to see Leura with different eyes, its history, its hard times, photos and stories of magnificent residences of bygone days, the 1980s vision to continue to bring holiday makers to escape the city and breathe in the (very) fresh mountain air. Look forward to doing her Katoomba tour next time. Thanks, Sue.

We all had so much fun and learnt so much about Leura History that I had never heard before even though I have lived here for decades. Sue has an incredible amount of knowledge and delivers it in a fun and humorous way. I unreservedly recommend this tour to everyone!

I was lucky enough to spend last Saturday morning with Sue from Mountain Tales. I learnt such a lot about the fascinating history of Katoomba. Sue is well versed, organised, very pleasant and obviously loves people.If you want to know the history of the mountain villages and are going to the Blue Mountains for a holiday, book in with Sue you won’t regret it.

I took along my then 10 month old puppy and even she was interested! I highly recommend booking in this fascinating tour as you will laugh, gasp and learn so much about the rich history of Leura and the stories of the people who made the town what it is today. An absolute must to add to your list of fabulous things to do up here.
