Absolutely flawless work! I had a pair of pants and a skirt tailored there and they are absolutely perfect. The work on the skirt is especially impressive as quite a significant portion of the back of the skirt had to be altered. It literally looks as if it’s always been that size! I couldn’t recommend Looksmart more, especially if you’re looking to have a pricier piece or a delicate material tailored.

I was recommended this place by a friend as I had a large alteration / customisation job that I needed done in 2 days… my usual seamstress couldn’t do it but the team here got it done - looks amazing and so professional! Plus a gorgeous team who gave great advice. Highly recommend

This is a late review but back in January I took my dress to get it altered here during the last hour of their closing time. It was for my dress that was too long and also needed securing at the cleavage area. Although I wish the price was a better deal for me, I cannot dismiss their kindness in doing an amazing job with my dress and their speedy service. I returned just before they closed up and everything was finalised and ready for me to take back home. Very reliable service.

I brought a very expensive designer leather skirt, that needed complex alterations, I honestly didn't expect that they will accept to alter it but to my biggest surprise, not only they fixed it but it looked even better than when I bought it! thank you for being so warm and friendly and thank you for your great quality work!

The alteration Fiona and her team did for me is personally worth more than a 5-star rating. I made the difficult request of shortening a longline corset at the front, as it was otherwise uncomfortable to sit in. What made it particularly difficult was that the busk and boning was steel and required heavy duty equipment to cut and shape. For a turnaround of 1 week, the price was really reasonable considering the job and how busy they are as a business. Honestly blown away by the handiwork and miles they went through to shorten my corset!! It is hard to find a tailor capable of doing corset work.I would highly recommend Looksmart Alterations at Melbourne Central for your formal attire alterations. Just know that a corset alteration will be at a reasonably higher price-point than standard alterations because of the expertise and experience required.

I took several dresses for different types of alterations, including shortening them, making it bigger or shorter. Finally, the results of all my dress alterations were perfect! If there was anything wrong with the fit and I’d like to make further adjustments, they were willing to continue to do it for me patiently.I really would like to thank Fiona and their team for the excellent work and great customer service!!! ❤️They were super friendly !!!!Highly recommend!

The ladies did very good work on tailoring a heavy duty leather jacket of mine. Lovely people and reliable.

I got 2 pants of different materials hemmed. One of their technicians helped me to find the perfect length for each.Turn around time was very quick and I was surprised at how low the cost was. Pants look great. Would recommend!

I am absolutely thrilled to have Cham and her team fixed my dresses. It was a lot of works and she did it brilliantly like custom made from scratch.I was so happy wearing the dress and people asked where I had it made (perfectly fitted)I also found Cham with a very pleasant and warm attitude.
