Lavender House B&B

I spent the long weekend there with family and friends. Good location, and reasonable price. However it's been an unpleasant experience since the property owners are chasing you all the time for making sure his place is untouched. Also the smell from bathroom was terrible, I had to close the door all the time. I will suggest to take the whole place instead of just one or two rooms.

Very bad experience. we went there a while ago. The owner followed you to the balcony where the hot tub is and watch what you are doing. The owner also have guess themselves. they were stay at the living area that night, really noisy. We have to leave. The room is too small and you have no where to put your luggage. over weight people might not fit into the toilet in your room. the next morning, we sat at the crowded table for breakfast where the cooking smoke will come in to the dinning area.

The jacuzzi Does not workReviewing the Queen Bed, The place is absolutely not as pictured especially what is shown in the pictures, Breakfast was mostly disappointing the owner were very stringy, it's not a buffet it is what they give you to mark on a paper, but don't be surprised if they don't give you anything extra. Also, the jacuzzi does not work. The smell in the house is old and the rooms are not aired out, If this is a relaxing holiday you are looking for you might want to consider a hotel you might have to spend a little more but it would be relaxing. This place needs a major renovation. Fresh idea and updated furniture.

For how much I paid for the honeymoon suite I thought the room would of been a little bit more.The breakfast was old and cold not fresh they asked me for any request I asked for ice-cream with my pancakes and they acted like I asked for their first born, they ended up giving me off crystallised ice-cream. the ocean view was little squises of the ocean through big tacky buildings. The owners were constantly in our face to the point we had to sneak in and out I noted others doing this aswell It just wasn't okay.Two stars because the bed was amazing.

John & Linda were beautiful hosts, very warm and welcoming. The breakfast was freshly made and any extra request was openly met. Great location - close to great beach and all amenities. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning again.

Disclaimer: Only reviewing the honeymoon suite;Half of the top floor, northeast corner.. large open plan balcony with ocean views, albeit over adjoining roof tops still allowed glimpses of dolphins passing;Comfortable king size bed, delightful internal spa, mini kitchenette with fridge, oven and microwave.Breakfast delivered to the room between 8am and 9.30am, have your selections in before 7.30pm the night before. Fairly average quality however John & Linda excelled at bruschetta and omelette options.Remembering that you’re staying in their home, our hosts were accommodating and welcoming, the location was excellent for our needs.Would definitely return ☺️

Honestly that was the worst place i have been for a holiday firstly the owners weren't welcoming at all and refused to consider the digital vaccination certificate we had on our phones as it doesn't shows both doses , Secondly the place was so dirty , small and smelly that we couldn't sleep from the smell , thirdly the owners were sitting watching us everywhere we go and watching us having their breakfast saying lots of silly comments like you cant touch this or you cant drink like that !!!!! fourthly they didn't allow us to stay our last night and refused to refund as they claimed we cant keep our little 1 and half years old baby with us , it was a terrible experience i would never recommend anyone to go their their lots of better places out their

Basically across the street to the sea. Loved to walk on the timber promenade along the beach to the heart of The Entrance. Linda and John are very nice and accomodating elderly people, always ready for a chat.It is a Bed and Breakfast with its own charm and charming old fashion hosts. Home made big breakfast. Nothing fancy, as you would come and visit friends or relatives. No wifi, but we shared a bottle of wine with John after dinner and had a very good time. Did not have time for the jaccuzzi, too busy chatting with our guests.

The accommodation was disappointing and certainly not worth 4 stars. The wife was welcoming but the husband was a grumpy old man. He visibly got upset with me when I didn't eat the very bad egg omelette with tomatoes.The placeis a bit tired as the owners and they should consider retiring. The husband complained of all the work and how they can never go on holiday. Just over the top and and no respect for guests privacy and peace and quiet.

Worst experience ever. Not about the tidiness of the room but the service. The husband in the house is always sneaking around. Every time we open the door he is there either telling us how to park the car or telling us how other people in the house didn’t clean their shoes before entering the house. On top of that they asked us to fill a form for breakfast but because we were 5 min late they said you are late and won’t get breaKfast. This is the first time i am writing a bad review about a accommodation because I couldn’t take it. And SPA is only there for a show their is no way they are gonna let you use it.John and Linda were worst host ever. I still tidied my room before leaving because that is what we do despite of how you treat us! But I swear i am never going to forgive how they made us feel
